I wanted to add a new model to my Tohaa model thread, then I realized that I don't have a Tohaa model thread on the new forums. Soooooo here's a first post full of old photos from my old thread so that I have a thing to reply to.

    *shrug*

My Kaeltar and Symbiomates were the first models I completed for the army. The Kaeltar themselves are sculpted entirely from clay, both to match Ash and Misty's outfits and to have them stand at the appropriate height for 11-year-olds.

The Ectros was my test model for the army's paint scheme.

My Neema Sataar is heavily converted. Basically the entire right side of the model is resculpted from clay.

I painted my Igao with a decloaking effect. I went back later and added a blue electric effect at the edge of the decloak, which you can see in a later group shot.

The last three models needed to bring my army up to 300pts.

    My rescue civilians. <3

My HVT. He lasts for about a day before he starts drying out, and then I need to buy a new asparagus to stick the sash and monocle onto.

A group shot from... holy crap, October 2016. I really need to paint more often. :/

A 360 video from the same time. I like making these. <3

You really need to update the asparagus to glycerined version, or silicone+resin cast.
What are the civilians? Self made with epoxy?

And here's today's update: the Gorgos I painted up for Adepticon. :D

I don't like the look of Chaksa, so I substituted a Mama Hedgehog (a grown-up version of the rescue civilians above) as the escort for my TAG. She's based on an artichoke flower, and she shoots spikes out of her butt at my foes.

The pilot is covered in wads of meat and drenched in symbiote goo, because seriously, all of that meat has to go somewhere when the TAG model gets pulled off the table!

And that's it for today. At the rate I've set, I should have another update to add here in October 2019. See you then! :)

And after digging some in your linked pages, yes, the thingies are some wire, epoxy and fimo.
Why not model the asparagus that way too?
