I will be more than satisfied with them putting Spiral Corps back in even if it's just 1 for 1 N4 to N5 updates.
No, it was information from Gencon, but during Krug they finally said that the Spiral was definitely dead and would not be returning with the other OOP sectorials.
I am afraid this seems to be the case, Spiral is no more, hunted down to extinction over almost blowing up one of the most important planets of the Human Sphere.
Wait, so Spiral Corp is confirmed axed and won't appear in N5? Well there goes my second army, guess I'm stuck playing Yu Jing. That really sucks, to say the least in the politest manner I can. My friend picked JSA and I Spiral Corp before all of this, and mine gets removed while his becomes a full fledged faction, but he still doesn't play because of how sour he is about CHA for Ariadna not being in N5 who was his first army.
You can use almost all the Spiral models that are Tohaa in the Tohaa factiion (so no brawlers, for example). Not the same, I know, but it's the best we can get... at least unless they relaunch Tohaa
At least your friend is getting CHA back, so maybe he'll return to playing. I do understand the feeling though as I lost FRRM and initially it seemed USARF too before they announced they will get a rework.
Started playing in N3, and at this point Tohaa feels like nuclear fusion, it's always 10 years away. I would love to play it especially since they are gutting Spiral Corp, but as for the return of Tohaa, I'll only believe it when I finally see it.
