I'm playing in a 12xp Spec ops tournament this weekend and kicking around some list ideas, Missions are acquisition, Supremacy, and countermeasures. I'm building one list primarily for Countermeasures where the spec ops is a super specialist but I'm not sure what to do with him for the second list. (0.5 | 9) 5.5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army This is what I'm thinking for Acquisition and Supremacy. Rasail as datatracker in acquisition, Clipsos as button pushers in both. Clipsos in the main pool will deploy as a marker and be my liaison officer. I really like the Kiiutan and Greif in supremacy since they can easily get to the back quadrants and either just exist or harass. I originally had one of each and one less clipsos but needing a forward observer on the board for the LO takes away my hidden button pusher which I really like. The spec ops is just a place holder in the list right now, I don't really know what to put on him. Interested to hear some other tips on peoples spec ops and acquisition/supremacy/countermeasures experiences.
Both Aquisition and Supremacy have a Hacker bonus. So getting a hacker Spec-Ops for those as well might be useful. And the hidden Clipsos can wait for round three to help/deny controlling the objectives in Acquisition and contest/dominate a quadrant in Supremacy when necessary.
In spiral you can play a BS12 MSV1 HMG spec ops in a tricore. It allows us play something different with spiral
I ended up taking a super specialists but honestly I wish I would have taken that loadout. Would have brought me a lot more then dragging a cheaper holoed kumotail around.
