Do the Spec-Ops keep their unit classification? For example, are Devas Veteran troops and Morats Line troops? When selecting the Spec-Ops unit, they have no classification whatsoever so I'm guessing no but maybe I missed it somewhere.
That appears only in the PDFs. In the Army, there is no Spec Ops loadout on the troopers, you have to select it from it's own button. Likewise, in the mobile Army it appears as a separate unit when you want to edit it and include it in the list.
This has practical reasons. It has to present to you an interface for assigning gear and skills for XP. Unfortunately as a result this makes it not evaluate AVA correctly.
