How about getting away from grimdark like the rest of real life? PanO is one of the places you would expect optimism. Perhaps Fortress PanO where the assignments are to preserve the human sphere? This overwhelming forces of the E.I. Schtick is getting pretty old. I thought this was a regular anime, not Berzerk 2.0. For that I would play another game by Adam Poots
