Sixth sense has the requirement of being targeted by an attack for the skill to activate. Part of the skill is allowing the user to ignore all dodge penalties, other than the -6 applied my Imm-A. Does this mean that a model with sixth sense, that is not targeted by an attack, but that does get an out of LoF dodge because an opponent moves within 8 on the other side of a wall still has the -3 penalty to dodge?
"Requirements" in Infinity should read "Suggestion" Some of the points in Sixth Sense (even if there is a "requirement") work regardless of that requirement being met. As an example, the last bullet point "Stealth is not effective against Troopers with the Sixth Sense Special Skill." Would be completely irrelevant if you had to fulfill the requirement, since Stealth does not work when you Attack anyway. - - - - - That being said. I think N4 philosophy is Strict RAW over anything (even if an example contradicts it) Soooooo...
The existing thread is still dangling with no answer: https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/sixth-sense-dodge-when-not-attacked.38823/#post-401642 I think I'll post some thoughts there to avoid duplication.
