This happened in a game a while back but just came to mind again. It's an incredibly unlikely sequence of events because of the undesirable declaration of skills, but if it comes up again... A trooper (A) is within LoF of a Decoy and the real model, a Helot. Behind the Decoy are 2 other troopers; their identity is irrelevant. Trooper A declares two boarding shotgun shots on the Decoy as their first Short Skill. As an ARO, I reveal the Helot. This is one of the cancellation clauses of Decoy, and the Decoy being shot by Trooper A is removed. What happens???
The template is placed when declaring the attack to check the affected troopers. There's no difference if some of them where decoys. Also http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Decoy_(State) Whenever the Decoy state of the Decoy user is cancelled, remove all the replicas at the end of the Order that happened. If the user was hidden as a Decoy Marker, replace it with the user's model, facing the same direction, at the end of the Order that happened. If the user is in another Marker state, replace the Decoy Marker with the trooper's Marker.
