That list doesn't really exist. For example, your Nox hacker has nothing to do except die to KHDs in a mission like annihilation. That said, there are a couple things I would do right off the bat...

You MSR Nox is the only one wanting to stay back while the rest of the group wants to move up (to complete objectives, use the HMG... which I will get to later). It's also on a BS 11 non-mimetic platform... not great for the points. Indeed, if you want your hacker to do something and also have an ARO piece, I'd suggest dropping the Nox and getting either a Q-drone (shedding some points elsewhere) or a T-drone FTO (cheaper, more BS, and buffable). To the HMG, Red Fury Sheskiin is just better in almost all situations. Put her in the link to move her up with your objective grabbers (leave the buffed T-drone behind) or move her up alone.

I'd also sidegrade one of you Nocs to the ML. Nothing like stacking that surprise missile with the T-drone, or across the board shot when they thought they were clear. Savvy opponents will expect it, but they will also need to play around it, so there's a mini win in-and-of itself.

 

@Sabin76 you need hacker to deploy REMs, so it's not completely out of work.

Hi, Darsil. As Sabin76 said, universal lists, netlists, etc, are pretty much non-existant in this game. You construct a list for specific scenarios you expect to play, choosing units whose strengths work well in a context of given mission. That being said...

• Sheskiin is very nice, but including her makes the list very top-heavy. If you want a list as versatile as possible Mentor is the best Lt. choice, nerfing opponent's ability to reduce your order pool if you go first.
  
• Medchanoid; again, if you want versatile, don't leave out Doc/Engineer. He'll help you keep your defence in place.
• Defensive Nox team isn't a bad setup. Sniper will want to hang back, with rest of the team positioned to move forward if nessesary. With SMG, Zappers, and shotgun they will be very nasty from up close.
• Additional defenders include Q-Drone (best Total Reaction remote in the game), and Noctifier ML. Q-Drone can also act as a backup attack piece, and it's actually pretty decent at it.
• Killer Hacker is pretty much a must, especially for a rounded list. Shrouded, Malignos, and Cadmus are all decent choices; I went with Shrouded to make sure there's still a good presence in the midfield.
• Minelayer Dazer is a nasty profile. Dazer is generally one of the nastiest pieces of equipment right now. Careful deployment is a must, to ensure it's as annoying to the opponent as possible, without being an obstacle for you.
• Cadmus RF is a primary assault piece. Cadmus in general is very, very nasty. Look up how Decoy works when used with Combat Jump.
• Taighas run interference, act like a speed bump, and exploit any openings that reveal themselves.

If I were to tweak this one I might exchange Noctifier for a Jayth, Caliban, or Malignos to strenghten the midfield and/or assault capability. Depending on the choice it might be possible to fit in Nox HMG, too, but it'd require more sacrifices:

Hi,

What i am really missing in your list is an active turn shooter. You have pretty much all your swc in aro weapons. You have the q drone which is really good but your only thing that can do work for you.

A jayth with red fury, a spitfire caliban, gwailo or sheskiin would be good. Even the malignos khd with smg has been a good Rambo for me. Beside the qdrone the only thing i see as someone you give orders will be the mentor i guess. But he cant compete with neither of the above.

Your list could be annoying as hell to play against it if used right (because of the nasty aro's) but i cant see how you will play your own turn and achieve much.

 

The second list is better. Of course always depending on the mission. If you want to use them as haris i would rather take victor messer or corax hasht instead of Sheshkiin. The gwailos brings enough teeth to the haris, Sheshkiin would be overkill. To much points in the haris in my opinion. If you over extend it the chances are high to loose it entirely without breacking a sweat dir your enemy. Maybe change the gwailos hmg into the ap spitfire. This haris wants to go up the field, the spitfire will have the better rangebands for this.If you do that you could change the coc caliban into the MSV1 spitfire caliban which is a very good hunter (secondhand attack piece) .

Maybe something like that. It has a few specialists. Aro with the seed soldiers, the ikadron and thaiga. The malignos sniper is a little bit wierd but can do very well because of the infiltration and mod stacking. And most of all you have a lot of shooting power with the gwailos haris and the caliban.

 

Maybe change the standard nox in an rdrone. You would have 28 Pointe left. Maybe for a Shrouded Khd? It seems you like the shrouded :).

 

maybe try somethinglie this. change mentor to cheaper one(don't need SMR in this list where you have good shooters and without an CoC), cadmus to Assault pistol (cadmus had a great presition to drop where you want bc Decoy mechanic), one Ikadron out to make lair to add one nox (to power Sheskin with a 3-corps Fireteam)

I know this is deviating from your list a bit, but here is my all comers list. I'm personally not a huge fan of Sheskin since her link options are limited. By replacing her with a Gwaillos as active shooter you can easily fit in a haris and a jayth\messer duo. You also get great repeater coverage for Messer with the M-Drones.

Here is the Skeleton that I've played over my last 50~ games.

It's altered based on the mission, changing the Shrouded to specialist as needed or upgrading some of the camo midfield to TO. You can also swap the Speculo for another Noctifer for missions like Biotechvore.

I've had overwhelmingly good success with that list so far, it basically taps into all the strength of Shasvastii.

Sheskiin: by far the best gunner in the game (at least until N3 rotates), she really doesn't need to be in a big link to work. I tag messer and a nox along, but usually break the link up after 1-2 order. She basically drags them to be midfield specialists armed with template and goes on a rampage.

Ikadron: easiest auto-include ever. it's everything you want in a cheerleading troop. Templates, Flash Pulse, Cheap, Baggage, Repeater.

Shrouded: super solid camo skirmisher, I like the dazer version when the mission doesn't require too many specialist (the list already has plenty anyway with Messer, Nox and Caliban). The dazer synergizes super well with Noctifers (not affecting their burst) and help you demolish fireteam ARO pieces by cutting their burst in half.

Caliban: solid specialist, can snowball with protheion, gives you a bit of a safety net so you can go super aggro with Sheskiin. Very solid gun fighter and specialist.

Noctifer: What makes Sha tick imo. One of the VERY FEW good ARO piece in the game, one of the few that let's you pick your rangeband in reactive turn. They punish opponent's mistake very well and can easily win you the game if you can capitalize on one of their mistake.

Speculo: Another signature piece of Sha, but this time it's armed with Minelayer. Use as a surgical tool to get rid of specific piece that are annoying to you. Normally, the Speculo was specifically used for active turn aggression where you pick a large annoying tool apart, but Minelayer gives it a completely different extra dimension. You can keep it in reserve to threaten whichever ARO piece you want with a mine in their ZoC, forcing their ARO to take a save should they decide to shoot your advancing troopers... (Which synergizes with out nerf troop)

Taigha: The glue that holds everything together. They make everything work by giving terrible choices to our opponent. If your opponent decides to keep ARO up to fight off your Taigha advancing, they will be faced with the active turn of Sheskiin (supported by dazers) and the threat of a mine from the Speculo. By dodging on 16, your opponent most likely won't be able to get rid of all their Taighas and whichever ARO they decided to use to keep them in check will essentially trade for your Taighas. If for some reason, your opponent decides to hide everything and avoid that scenario, your Taigha will be able to move up to 24" (the distance between 2 deployment zone for most missions) and threaten their deployment zone. (And bonus, the Taigha are extremely good at dealing with camo tokens, idle outside of their lof and in their zoc, moving into their lof/zoc) and stop activating. You'll be able to use your SSL1 to delay and threaten discover / template depending on what they do. It is very hard for your Taigha to not be worth their points. Every single game I've told myself "I probably should take more Taighas"

I really like the shas lists you posted @Diphoration . How do you like to play the list going first and second? How do you feel having two noctifer disrupt your pretty low order count?
