I have 0 experience with sculpting. I'd like to convert the old-style combi-rifles on the Military Orders starter Sergeants into the new style of combi rifle. Comparing the old one to the picture of the Auxbot Spec Sergeant, it looks like I could get a pretty good result by just clipping the quad-barrel tip off, and replicating the tip of the 'modern' combi. How would you go about this task? Would you do anything else to bring the old Sergeants up to the standard of the ones in the newer Sergeant box?

I typically file the edges of the round barrel into a rectangular shape.

Then I drill a hole into the end and place a small piece of paperclip inside! [IMG]

Nice! That looks really good. Consider me encouraged. I just ordered the MO Big Box, and I was worried the old Sergeants would just look terribly out of place.

They are comparable in height, so they look fine together! :)
