I decided to split this from my "Low tech" mercenary thread as this has become my main project. First off here's my Youtube channel with battle reports and animations. Here's my first finished model/Test scheme. Here's my work in progress light infantry chick.
Red, light brown, white, and black. Scale color and Vallejo. One of the specifics was Red leather from Scale Color. Great paint.
Finished up this generic light infantry chick. Painted a heart on her butt <3. I'm falling in love with scale 75. their skin set is very nice. Also did a review on a brand new terrain company:
Just zapping through some more Varuna. Really digging all the new designs (except for crotch flap on male ZC).
Man those conversions are fantastic! Following closely! Also yes, Scale75 paints are simply the best I’ve ever used. Slowly moving my GW collection over to S75, except for the few GW paints that are literally magic in a pot.
BRO! It's incredible. I never bought into hype or whatever. But I needed Matte heavy medium paints after trying some traditional acrylics in the same blend. And they make an enormous difference. I feel like I have so much more control over the paint and the white is so bright without the gloss you get from tons of layers. Thank you!
Been Crazy Slow progress on this project with work/Youtube stuff. I somehow managed to get through this model using different colors in comparison to the previous ones. So now it's like a flesh-> bone. Really taking my time with the blending on it and trying to improve my technique. Also upgraded the camera (I do a lot of freelance production on the side) and have been digging the quality for mini photography/doing our Youtube stuff.
