Haha I did say cute. But we do we know why Morat girls are all have helmets? Maybe they're cute by human standards, but morats think it's hideous
That is quite the headcannon. She looks great all the same. I'm guessing that is from Transformers? I'd think it would be Soundwave who would possibly have a feature like that.
@robot_jones Really cool stuff dude, I love seeing your art and I missed your stuff. For a while there I felt like all my favorite fanartists had moved to greener pastures lol I'll have to follow you where you do post!
@robot_jones . . . WONDERFUL Art as usual. . . Once I saw many of the Hayao Myazaki "Manga Style" on the faces of Your Characters (especially female ones); now I see that Your are DIFFERENTIATING quite more, creating YOUR OWN style, more personal and "Less Inspired" (not that there is something bad in "Homages"; I pride Myself on NOT deviating overmuch from Masamune Shirow inspired babe-faces, and My Italian Clients agree. . .!!). . . . . . . . I don't remember if You take commissioned work, and IF YES, at what costs and Developement-Time-Exchange-$ "Ratio"; there is a Young Artist Girl that I sometimes "Tutor" in drawing and learning Manga Style. . . While She appreciate the "Anathomy Proportion" that I give to Her to exercise with, She could NOT stand my "Motoko Kusanagi / Deunan Knute" faces, (the first from "Ghost-In-The-Shell" the second from "Appleseed") mainly because Masamune Shirow have a BAD REP in the "Otaku Girl Community" of Italy; He is now regarded as "CG Porn Adult Mangaka" RATHER than "Father of Cyberpunk Anime". . .!! . . . . . She is INSTEAD quite taken by Myazaki Style; acquired and own, on My recommendation, the "Sketchbooks" of Lupin-&-Cagliostro-Castle, Mononoke Hime, Laputa, Nausicaa, Earthsea (that is an Anime NOT by "Master" Hayao, but by His son, Goro) and ESPECIALLY Porco Rosso (that is QUITE beloved in Italy, as is SET in an "Idealistic" 1930 Italy !!). . . She have now to do Sci-Fi sketches for Her rather STRICT Comic School (She is RELATIVELY affluent; Her parents, provided that She have "Good Real World School" exams, let Her frequent a COSTLY Evening Comic School, that EVEN with Pandemic Lockdown, keep a steady schedule by Works-Scanned-&-Mail-Sent examinations). . . . . . . . She have NOW to do "Photoshop Colouring" of BW Sketched Illos, especially "Action Poses" (is now doing "Cover Magazines" Illos) that SHOULD "Alter" the features JUST by SUBTLY colouring Hair, Eyes, Facial Expressions (such as Reddened Cheeks meaning Anger or Embarassement, on an otherwise serene expression). . . I have shown Your works and She instantly BECAME ENAMORED on the style, claiming is "PERFECT STUFF" for Her needs. . . . . . . . Unfortunately She is quite Young and have a QUITE halted knowledge of the English Written Word (She study ALSO French at High School; Her "Translations" are an atrocious "Pigdin" of English, French and Italian DIALECT !!) and so I could not have Her had MEANINGFUL Contacts with You for requests. . . SHOULD YOU be able and willing to do commissioned work, feel free to PM contact Me with Your "Tariffs" if it is more of Your liking. . . I wrote this OPENLY, rather than BY PM, because IF You are uninterested (or have NO time) to offer a "Steady Supply" of BW Rough Sketches that She could "Operate On" then MAYBE, in Your Time and with YOUR Leisure, perhaps will allow Her to "Take" some of the OPENLY shared Images of Yours and "Cover-Colour" them and then let the results BE JUDGED by You. . .!! . . . . . Maybe You will draw something ON YOUR TERMS, that is ALSO liked by other Fan of Yours there. . . . . . . . Especially the LAST "Cute Zerat" Face that You have drawn was quite prefect for Her needs. . . Her PROFESSIONAL Comic Teacher (one of the Italian Artists that works for "Sergio Bonelli Editore" for "Nathan Never" a sort of "Cyberpunk Space Opera" kind of Monthly BW Comic, that is NOW entering SLOWLY the "Colour Age" !!) has asked Her to colour: "Believable Alien-Humanoid Space Girls Fighting, Armoured in Star-Wars kind of attire". . . I think that some Tohaa, Zerats, Shaasvastii Speculo-Killers and Nomad "Extreme Catgirls", dressed in what could be referred as "Mandalorian Women Armour" would be what He is asking for. . . . . . . . Should this be NOT a thing that You consider, (honestly have NO IDEA of Your schedules; maybe You have JUST 15 spare minutes EVERY 15 Hours-A-Day !!), THEN I will try, when I can, to draw "Hayao Myazaki Styled-Faces" of Zoanthrope Manga Girls (for Her to colour) and put these on a TWIN Fanart Thread. . . Maybe then You could find something that is inspiring for You, as much as YOUR WORKS are inspiring for Me and My Pupil (HONESTLY I'm paid by Her parents to TUTOR Her in English and French; drawing foreign speaking Comic Sketches is ONE of the manners to cope with a Rich Young Teenager Girl limited span of attention !!!). . . . .
@stevenart74 Whoa! Thanks! As for Shirow Masamune drawing hentai - well, just about every artist (and even some animation studios) used to or still does adult content. This includes myself (though I've never posted any of it as of yet, since they are generally for anatomy practice). It's far more common than most people may think and it for many it pays the bills. A funny but well-known secret for artists who do draw for money is doing commissions for furries usually. Especially when they're desperate for cash lol because some are really loaded and really want artists. Same with RPGers who want their characters/parties done. As for commissions, I don't do any. I used to in both digital and miniatures. However, I don't usually get time to draw/paint, so I'd rather draw/paint for myself and at my own pace. I've actually been enjoying this virus lockdown to some extent, because I've had a lot of free time to catch up on much needed practice. I generally don't care if people attempt to color or utilize my stuff as long as they're not trying to make money off of it. Your friend wouldn't be the first. In fact many have already done so. Isobel McGregor and Pari seem to be the most popular. Style-talk: Style ought to be secondary IMO and it's something that develops over time. The most important thing is fundamentals (anatomy, perspective, composition, color theory, brush/linework, value, etc etc). It's natural wanting to imitate favorite artists or show/comic, but I don't recommend chasing or imitating a style without some grasp of fundamentals to build on top of and avoiding the pitfalls along the way - all stuff I still struggle with. Anyways here is the lines for the two pilot butts done
Heh, love this, "Here's an extremely informative and even inspirational message. Anyway here's some butts"
Thanks @robot_jones . . . Will show Your answer to My "Pupil Protègè". . . Hope it will be useful for Her practice. . . Even if now She has to draw "Cyberpunk Vampires in Deus-Ex Styled Trenches" (!!!); a quite peculiar request from Her "Pros Teachers". . . . . . . . . . . I wonder WHAT could possibly count as "Vampires" in the Infinity Gameworld; maybe Nomads from Bakunin who ILLEGALLY transplanted "Proteion Glands" from Shaasvastii Corpses harvested on Paradiso. . . . .???
Shasvatii for aliens or another alien species/animal. Or a genetic altered Human as you suggested. Perhaps a failed experiment funded by some hyper-rich benefactor to look into extending the natural body's lifespan. Focusing on slowing down or stopping aging altogether. A cyber-punk Vampyre could be many things even being one of the "old time" vamps from ancient times past that survived into the far future. Maybe one of or the last of it's kind. There are many Vampyres from different cultures so looking into their histories could give you and her some ideas/inspiration on how to draw one.
Also here's a piece I never posted or finished. I stopped because I wasn't sure where I was going with her armor design. I think I was looking for something between law enforcement and civilian, so I started with a dragon lady look and added armor bits I like to think there's a nice butt..in all of us
Time to take same POV than with The Matrix (there is only one Matrix movie): he only draw Cyberpunk Anime. Which is the case when you do not try to get original books (hard for those obsessesed with the field, I know), as I doubt hardly anything else has been translated.
@Mob of Blondes . . . Sorry, I don't get Your point. . .?? Are You speaking of translated Manga of Masamune Shirow. . . . .??? Because in Italy has been translated (apart from ALL the "Sci Fi" ones, ALL except the HALF of Appleseed 5, that is STILL in Japanese) also some Work of Shirow that is NOT Cyberpunk science-fiction. . . Like "Orion" that is "High Fantasy Comedy with a smattering of Chtulhu Mythos". . . . .!!!
Oh this is completely unrelated to Infinity but I'm going to brag hard about this everywhere I go. It's been a week since and I still can't get over it!
