Apparently the Roadbot is Starmada only. I’d preordered it based on the preview as Bostria had left me with the impression it would be a vanilla O-12 profile. Anyone else in the same place?
Yes, the same here. How does it look? Can we cancel the pre-order if the units isn't for our faction, because of false information?
@HellLois This is serious. You can't just promise a profile for an army, put the mini up for sale, and then decide to take it away from that army again. What kind of business policy is this? Worse, what kind of customer communication policy is this? The very least you can do is give an explanation. The better thing to do is to put it in vanilla O12 as promised. I'm really angry about this right now, in case it wasn't noticeable.
I think it's not a mistake, @HellLois did not put any O-12 modification in the change log, only starmada:
Like. If it had been clearly advertised as Starmada only from the start, or the profile had been posted before preorders were up, I’d be fine with it. I can understand tough REM profiles change effectiveness when they have access to REM Driver. Starmada needed a buff more than Vanilla O-12, and more reasons to take them / builds to make them work. My issue is really around the preorder being up after the preview called it an O-12 unit…
Yeah my thoughts exactly. I think it's a great choice that helps bring Starmada back on line, and they're looking awesome now in so many ways (check out my new thread for a breakdown), but this could have been handled better.
But I'm really angry about this! I bought a Rem Driver! I pre-ordered the Roadbot. And now I can't use it?
I'm sorry, but this is the image presented (https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/january-february-march-2023-happy-new-year.41778/page-2) AVA 0 is clearly stated in the profile. And the profiles always show the "vanilla army" AVA.
The combat form is marked as AVA 1. If it was just for Starmada and not for Vanilla O-12, they should have been clear and explicit. I don’t think this is any kind of clear signalling that the unit wasn’t for O-12.
AVA in the basic profile is what always counted for "Vanilla Army". ALWAYS. BTW, i would also prefer if it was available in Vanilla
An AVA in the second profile not the first, and it being described as an O-12 profile is not the clear signal that it was Starmada only you seem to think it is…
Again. Repeat with me. It is not so difficult. AVA in the first profile is the "Vanilla Army" AVA. AVA in the first profile is the "Vanilla Army" AVA. AVA in the first profile is the "Vanilla Army" AVA. AVA in the first profile is the "Vanilla Army" AVA. Can someone please make a "Bart writing on the board" meme of this?
"This is for O-12, this is for Starmada." Bostria If there is a release just for a sectorial, they add a note to it. No note? Then you gonna assume, that you can use that profile in Vanilla as well, specifically if that's said in the video. AVAs can be wrong as well on profiles. These with the note would mean that you have no AVA in Bakunin of them.
Nobody cares you crappy fanboi shill. It was marketed as a vanilla product as well. CB fucked up. Was it malicious? Probably not, but they still fucked up and the right thing to do would be to make amends for that fuckup.
But problem is, it was not. So you can still think whatever you want, i don't call you shit even so...
