Starting up a thread for the new forums. Will go and fetch some of my previous pics from the old forum at some point. Here's my Marut taking a stroll through the woods. Haven't used it much yet but glad its done.
And here's Ajax. Originally painted him when I first got into the game but recently went over and tidied him up a bit (or rather messed him up a bit)
I love the color scheme on the Marut, very clean and with some small smudges here and there. I have a question, though, about the left inner hand (the one holding the HMG near de muzzle), is it just me or it looks like bent in an unnatural angle? I ask this because I had a lot of trouble assembling my Marut, and in the end I had to clip part of the HMG's "back fin" since she would hug the weapon too close to the chest (in fact, her right "boob" is totally glued to the gun's butt).
Yeah I had the same issue but a much less elegant solution. A blob of green stuff filling the space between the arm and hand. If I'd remembered it was there I might have tried to cleverly position to hide it. :)
Nice Marut and Ajax, @Reyzah Great to see around! Are you playing Aleph now? Your morats will be upset ;)
I had to promise myself to stick to Aleph this season as they were gathering dust. Missing my murder monkeys but Ajax is filling in. Think he might have a little Morat in his genetic code somewhere. =)
Been some time since I posted anything here. I've been working on some OSS lately. I went for an olive drab scheme, mostly to fit the bases, which in turn I picked mostly because they were easy to do.
Yeah not sure what happened there. I'll get round to taking some more pics of my older models so I can post them here too.
First off, Greta color schemes for both your Aleph and Morats forces. I think they are very beautifully painted and nice to look at. It seems that we share the same skin color for our Morat forces as I too am painting mine a gray hue nearly identical to yours. Hope to see more work done from you. These two projects are a great addition to the forum's art gallery.
