    Hello,

    I have an upcoming tournament in September, and unfortunately, Rescue is the second mission.

    Needless to say, a list like this is rather unorthodox. the intent here is obvious, Everything tries to infiltrate into the enemy's dead zone. I was hoping for some feedback. Is this a waste of time? just crazy enough to work?

    Have you ever run a crazy list? did it work?

    I love the idea of infiltration en masse, I would definitely advise you to give it a try!
    I used a rather similar 200 points list for killy missions and it was just great. Here is my list:

    The main difference is the Loup Garou fireteam, and I can tell you this is one huge difference. Loup Garous are absolutely brutal especially in relatively close-quarter firefights - exactly like those you will run into when playing Rescue.
    The main problem with the 11 points infiltrating Metros is their lack of a brutal weapon like the DEP. Let's face the ugly truth: a rifle on a BS10 platform is not too scary. The DEP makes a huge difference. Trading the swarm of Metros for a fireteam as rock solid as a full Loup Garou fireteam is more than reasonable. I would also consider the Briscards Haris, too. (Yup it's kinda far-fetched...)

    You can afford to be relatively conservative in Rescue because MRRF has multiterrain on nearly every model in the sectorial. Loup Garous do not have it, sadly, so I'd have to recommend against taking them. In this mission, I find that people severely underestimate the impact of the Difficult Terrain zone in the middle of the table, and Ariadna is one of the factions in the game that can leverage it to their advantage.

    In regards to the list itself, it's very "go big or go home." The "infiltrate everybody" approach might work well, but you're basically feeding your opponent models and failing to protect your own Civilians. I would try this or something similar,

    The Metros hang back and generate orders. They also have Multiterrain though so you *can* make a break for Civilians with them.

    Mirage 5 does what Mirage 5 does.

    Chasseurs hang back and plant mines to cover your own Civilians. You Coordinate all of them an order or two up-field and your opponent is going to have a heck of a time getting to your Civilians. They also have Multiterrain so late game, they can make a break for Civis.

    Briscards are an offensive Haris. Unlike Loup Garous, they have Multiterrain. At close range, they can gat people out with their Assault Pistols.

    All good remarks, and I like your list, too!
    Indeed Loup Garous lack Multiterrain but they are pretty good at hanging back and fighting off your opponent's troopers that attempt to rescue their civilians. (Especially if your opponent got the same idea of infiltrating or parachuting his troopers in your backyard...)

    While this is true, the opponent would still have to fight there way back through the board to their own DZ

    While I like your list, its very traditional, its something I would play for a number of missions. My issue with any defensive link teams is that the saturation zone kills any potential they may have.

    I may alter my list to include the briscard Harris to pick off any AD enemies that may try and grab civilians.

    really the idea with my list is to go first and try and mop up enough of the opponent with Mirage-5 and any other units who made it and grab civilians on their way out.
    its a shame Loup don't have multi terrain, as this is the only non-specialist heavy mission in the tournament.
