Hello guys, i'll try to share a little report here to share my experience and to obtain some hints on how to improve my gameplay. I had a lot of fun even my PanO where defeted. I do not have the oppent list, but is something like: Honomatocros fireteam with one piece with ODD and rocket launcher. 2 Netrod, Another fireteam with 2 myrmidon, a doctor (with eclipse granade) and Ajax

    This was my list

    Aquila FTO: CORE v2
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]9
BOLT (Fireteam: Haris) Boarding Shotgun, Drop Bears / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 19)
    BOLT Spitfire / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 23)
BOLT Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Boarding Shotgun, E/Mauler / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 24)
BIPANDRA Combi Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 23)
AQUILA FTO (Specialist Operative) MULTI Rifle / Pistol, Shock CCW. (0 | 59)
FUSILIER (Forward Observer, Deployable Repeater) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12)
FUSILIER Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
CSU (Specialist Operative) Breaker Combi Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 15)
    FUSILIER Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 15)

    3.5 SWC | 200 Points

    Mission: The Armory.

Turn 1: I have initiative, he is full under cover. I advance to the armoury and hide myself along a side of them, having my Aqulia prone with the FO on his back, and on the other side the Fusilier with Missile Launcher prone with the CSU on his back. Pipandra was wel... bad positioned.
MY bolt come on top of a building, deploy some Bears and then go prone, one except the spitfire one covering a lane from the high.

His turn: he advance with the rocket launcher team, he fires to my Bolt with spitfire. My whole bolt dies ._. (i lose the face to face and he hit me with 2 rocket launcher template. All my bolt dies in a horrible fire).
He cover his advance with eclispe granade until he is lacking orders. Then he come out of them and assalut fusilier and CSU. The nanopulse in aro do a lot of damage (kill his medi and one myrmidon), one wound to a myrmidon and one to ajax. The fusilier manage to survive an Ajax attack critting him. Second order and my fusilier and CSU are gone. I fail a change facing for my aquila and FO (i positioned them very badly so they could not see the other side of the building). Ajax move and shred apart my bipandra, aquila and FO manage to turn her face. At the end a myrmidon dies and ajax goes to NWI.
Last shot: he charge my aquila i shot to him in aro. He roll a 3 i rolll.... 20 (bs 15 + 3 range fo the multi rifle i only needed a 18). My aquila is meltend on the wall by ajax.

End of the game, since i go in retreat having only my lieutenant alive

Not sure it's fair for NCA to face SP in the Armoury at 200 pts only. That may be one of their preferred scenario and one NCA can get good at provided you get access to more tools than what 200 pts allow you to get.
One thing you'll need to learn is to not give to your opponent an opportunity to get more than one guy under a template. I got punished a lot by my brother's Phoenix this way. Bolts are difficult to play correctly and here was an example of "what to not do".
I think that you should have gone for your opponent's troopers with your Aquila instead of just sitting there. SP doesn't like that much the visit of troops well prepared to dislodge them. You could have left the Armoury for the first round and come back occupy it during the second one, once your opponent is more occupied to lick his wounds than constest you the scenario.

I hate Phoenix, and this was the "light" version of that. BTW yes i should go prone with ALL of my bolt ofter placing the mines (the bears was good placed), since i have a deployed Repeater i should have waited better and save my man instead of "hoping" in a ARO vs an ODD. Plus for sure i have to scatter them to avoid the rocket template, that was surely a suicide.

I Still need to learn a lot of position and how to handle a 180° field of view.
For the 200 pts we are still learning to play, and we have not so much miniature so we are still stucked to 200 pts. I would like to play Aquila and i tested him on the fireteam. And i think the aquila dire really really good.

After this i tried to upgrade my list, and i've come up with this

    Aquila FTO: CORE

Trying to hold the Armory all three turns, when going first, is certainly a trap. If your opponent has a halfway decent list, and a respectable sense of how to play the game.

When going first in Armory, I almost always spend Turn 1 focusing on developing my table presence, positioning units for future turns, and playing attrition. It's nice to toss something cheap into the Armory on Turn 1, but only so you can force your opponent to commit resources to dig it out. There's a whole complex interplay too, around Opening the Doors versus Destroying Doors.

While I agree, sometimes its a trap you have to walk into knowingly. If you really need that major/tiebreaker on the OP
