Regular + Frenzy in a Core

Let's say we've got a full Fireteam: Core of Wulvers (with Cadin). All of them are Regular / Frenzy. When they kill something:

1) do they become Regular / Ex Impet and still generate 1 Regular Order, ignoring the Ex Impet rule as long as they are in the Link, behaving like Makauls in a Triad?

2) do they lose the Regular status altogether and become just Ex Impet, ceasing to generate an order at all as long as they are in the link?

3) do they lose the Regular status altogether and become just Ex Impet and drop out of the link since a link cannot contain an Ex Impet?
