    Hey all!

I saw this older post online about the so called "Bostria's Challenge" where you'd have to build a legal 300 point list using all the models from a starter box as a starting point - no proxies or models left over.

There was an article about Red Veil Haqqislam, but this was pre-Ramah. Since reading the article I've been trying to solve the challenge using Red Veil models in Ramah Taskforce, and it's proven quite hard to build a list that ticks enough boxes to feel viable. How would you guys go about it?

How stingy is the no proxies rule? Can a Ghulam with Rifle+LSG be a Forward Observer, for example?

From what I saw FO:s, doctors and such are fine, I'd even say a rifle+LSG Ghulam can act as NCO rifle+LGL! But Tuareg sniper acting as rifle+LSG doctor isn't fine for example...

Having access to the LGL ghulam is big, because it gives us the mixed khawarij/ghulam link. If we go with something like this:

    Ghulam R+lsg
    Ghulam doctor
    Ghulam LGL
    Khawarij Mk12
    Khawarij HRL

Which leaves us with three khawarij models unused. Fortunately, given the loadouts, it's a reasonable haris team. Given that mukhtar aren't an option, we'll go with it.

But, at that point, I'm a bit stuck. Its 264 points and 10 models, which isn't bad, but is rough without a hacker. One option is Leila and two fanous, if Leila is allowed. If you don't mind telegraphing what you're doing, you could go with a tuareg doctor and a warcor. That adds a TO infiltrating specialist into our mix. Either version is pretty susceptible to just getting shot off the board.

If memory serves me right, the idea was to put a list for a beginner. So, use the entire Starter Box, and then use as few other purchases (and have as few leftovers from them) as well, as possible.
