If a unit is unconscious and uses an entire order to regenerate and is successful, how would AROs be resolved? We decided to play it out as even though the regeneration was successful, the unit was in such a poor spot that resulted in BS AROs against it, taking it back down again. Which made regeneration seem like a bad choice for an order. Not sure what the rules are for this situation. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
If you activate a trooper or declare a skill in LoF of an enemy trooper they get an ARO. Regeneration is a skill so will provoke AROs. Yes, it can be a bad idea to declare Regeneration in view of an enemy.
Do you mean Automedkit? No CA troopers have Regeneration, unless you're talking about a Krakot. The good news is that you tend to drop prone (hopefully behind total cover) when going unconscious, so the available AROs tend to be less.
It was regarding my friend who plays Tohaa. I remember thinking the same thing when using automed kit with my Maakrep, why spend an order to maybe bring them back up just to get AROs. But yeah we both agreed with how it played out, I just wanted to be extra sure. Thanks, guys.
