I have a question regarding how TinBots work in the game.

As I understand, they are basically bonuses for troopers - but, being Markers, they are represented in the game by miniatures or tokens. Does this have any other effects on the game, then? I.e. can enemies move over them? Can they be destroyed by enemy attacks? Or are they basically just decoration pieces?

They're markers like a prone marker, or a wound marker, they have no effect on the game other than to remind you of their effects.

The only difference between a Tinbot and the skill just being on the profile is that Tinbots are Comms equipment and get turned off when Disabled.
