If Major Lunah uses "Called Shot" on a target that is 7 hexes away and the target (ex:Maximus) doesn't have a weapon to reach back, will the star symbols on their dice inflict damage on Major Lunah? If so why considering as stated earlier, none of Maximus's attacks can reach. Thank you.
Defence can cause damage (except e.g., hidden state or other effects prevent) irrespective of the range. The assumption is that the „contender“ every Aristo has shoots up to 8 spaces (you can also shoot for 3 energy/1 orange die with every character, even if no range weapon is on the card in your turn). Treat the contender as additional default weapon everyone has.
