Hi I was wondering about clarification about the extent of using Inspiring Leadership to convert (from Joan/WW ) other units (to the same as Joan lets say) to a regular order when that unit normally is irregular, impetuous, etc. Would Inspiring Leadership make miranda ashcroft, a krakot, or a magister knight all a regular order using Inspiring Leadership under Joans regular order, just like using a warcor or tech bee etc?
More accurately the troop becomes regular. its important for a few other interactions such as data trackers ect
It's probably worth pointing out that Inspiring Ld doesn't affect the units' Fury; they'll keep their Frenzy/Impetuous/Ex Impetuous state. (It was 2nd edition where units followed Wallace's/Joan's Fury - which I found quite fun when Wallace's frenzy kicked in & my entire army charged forward!) But, yeah, their Training changes, which means under Wallace's tutelage, McMurrough can be the Data-Tracker!

god no, it was useless, suddenly your whole army became Ex IMP (only worse) and run to death. Utterly stupid
Yeha in caledonia it would suck. All your support units are suicidal and you no longer get any cover Greys, Scots guard, Caterans, Volunteers Mormaers. Horrible, it was a bad rule before, going back to it is not a good idea
Well, it's only ever happened to me once, and by then I only had a handful of troops left. But it was fun seeing a Volunteer charge at the enemy! (It was either the HMG or LGL load-out, forgotten which). Saying that, I still wouldn't want to return to that version - even though it won't be as bad in N3 now, given they'd only become Impetuous, (and not Ex Impetuous).
