November is just over a week away, which means QK and the remaining unreleased sectorials are around the corner. I’m pretty excited for this. I know these remaining sectorials are likely an afterthought, but new fireteam combos are always fun to see.

Hafzas, djanbazan, sekban and Azra’il are major unknowns. Hafzas, Sekbans and Azra’il models are no longer available, which raises questions about a future for these guys in the game.

But, odalisques got a shock immunity buff and djanbazans will certainly get the 4-4- movement buff (hopefully also regen + shock immunity).

What are you guys predicting for QK fireteams? I honestly think the faction could end up feeling much more like a NA2 force. Maybe Mobile Brigada wildcard? Kaplan tactical services are a very flexible link in White Banner, so I would imagine that being reflected in QK.

I hope that hafzas got habilities that represents they're naval cadets, like number 2, NCO or even chain of comand.I suppose they will be wildcard. The problem with hafzas is if other troops are wildcard, they lose some of is use, so I hope at least they gain n2. In this way the gain a utility of cheap fillers and with n2 give same stability to links.

I hope that hortlak janissaries are in this sectorial and can link with janissaries like RTF.

And like wishlist CB can include here a Saladin. In stararmada is naval liaison officer, and QK is naval forces in Haqqislam.

Yeah, Command skills for Hafzas would be pretty high on my wishlist, LT(+1 Order) and Chain of Command especially.
And unrestricted Wildcard (no more restriction on mercenary teams) for them and Odas.

A reason to take Sekban :-)

QK should have pretty wild Fireteam options. After all, we invented Wildcards!

    - hafzas in the line of command maybe we should get counterintelligence, If we get some LT(+1order) we should get NCO maybe djanbazan arzail or sekban.

    - A reason to take sekban, visor 1, mimetims -3 or superjump could be usefull.

    - New mercenaris?

    - Arzail core or haris with djanbazan or sekban.

    - Some tactical awareness on sekban or djanbazan maybe odaliscas (wildcard like in n3), odaliscas with specialist and CC 20 or high, ph 11 or 12 nobody is going to CC with 18 and PH 10 now a days.

    - Arzail Rework; Visor 1 or 2 (the miniature got visor on his head.....), linkable, or at least AP HMG 1 more dice. the ferbach neurocinetics could be good to pick him as ARO guy. No wound incapacitation (al fasid could get it too).

    - More Al hawwa profiles and AVA or maybe another Camo guy.

New Odalisques and Yuans are fine as they are.

Bashi specialist, Ghulam Lt[+1 Command Token] and Red Fury Rafik I think will join QK as well.

And wouldn't mind to have Arslan counted as Druze (without Lt option just like other mercenaries). I would add him also to Ikary, would I work in CB, just to stimulate completionists to buy another box :-ъ

Alguasils instead of Al Wasiri and in their own colors most likely but without Lt option (does anyone used it at all?).

Djanbazans I think will be MOV4-4 Regenration, Immunity(Shock), MSV2, Haris guys, the same as they were (except embedded Haris rule).
Comparing them to Epsylons, I think HMG will stay as it is while other profiles will get some points increase (maybe Sniper will be just slightly cheaper), hope, Shock Marksman guy will not cost SWC. If CB will make them BS13 it will be great, but I heavily doubt they will. Any case, no sense in profiles but HMG, Sniper, SMR and that's a pity, I really like the sculpts.

Sekbans... to say the true I don't care, they have a nice lore, but are lacklusters on the field IMM. If we'll get Hortlaks instead of them, I am all in it. Ofc it's nice to have a 360° visor in a world where 2-wound TI parashutist (Dep. Zone) exist, but still.

Maybe give them indeed C+ or Courage or MSV1 or at least MultiSniper making them the only native Haqq multisniper unit, they are Sultans' Musketeers after all. They were slightly cheaper than Odas and had 0-SWC Haris, but with Odas changed I cannot see the reason to field N3 Sekbans and as they are out of production, I doubt we'll see heavy rework.

AS to fireteams, I hope for:

Special fireteam: Hafzas can join any fireteam.
Special fireteam: dr. Rouhani can join any fireteam.
Special fireteam: one Odalisque can can join any fireteam of Dzanbanzans, Ghulams, Janissaries, Sekbans.
Special fireteam: Azrails can join any fireteam of Janissaries.
Special fireteam: Wild Bill can join any fireteam of Janissaries or Kaplans.

If Hortlaks will appear in QK (and it will be logical) then
Special fireteam: Hortlak Janissaries are count as Janissaries.

Would be nice (but I doubt they'll give it)
Special fireteam: one Azrail can join any fireteam of Ghulams within the sectorial army.

Alguasils + Mobile Brigada core FT maybe? (AVA2 of Brigadas?)

I'm not so sure about QK being an "afterthought". During the Planetario Seminar on Twitch, Bostria asked what people want to see as next Haqqislam sectorial focus, QK or Khanate. In the chat, QK got a lot more shoutouts if I remember correctly. :tada:

QK would also go well with the "Space Navy" theme that seems to be a N4 thing. In the Infinity RPG by Modiphius, corsairs are actually the special campaign thing of the Haqqislam source book.
And for a "shelfed" sectorial, we have been really lucky with new releases like the Djanbanzan and Kaplan resculpts.

N4 also saw a few profile improvements for QK:
    - Bashi Bazouks got better parachutist rules and a specialist option
    - Odalisques got NWI
    - Al'Hawwa sniper got Minelayer

And if the trend continues, some of the still missing profiles should be really nice:
    - Djanbanzans profit from the N4 regeneration changes, and will probably get a 4-4 move
    - Sekbans will probably become move 4-4, and the AP rifles will likely be more valid in the higher armor N4 meta.
    - Azra'il with a AP HMG (for 1,5 SWC?) and probably a 4-4 move looks tasty. The high armor value (arm 5) might be extra valuable in N4. And given other HI as reference, the Azra'il might even go down in points or get new skills.

Things I would like to see:
    - Naffatuns. Their bulky armor makes them look like Mini-Djanbanzan, and their visors match the QK style. Imho they look more spaceworthy than most line infantry. And while fire on space stations sounds hazardous, their flame throwers have this Aliens vibe that imho goes really well with "Fighting Combined Army in space". Balance wise, I would expect this change to be harmless and without much effect.
    - Alguaciles getting the "Counts as Ghulam for link team purposes" rule in QK. I think these Nomad elements in QK are really stylish, but I don't remember seeing any Alguaciles used in battle reports.
    - Some link options for Azra'il, or something that denotes their veterancy might be nice. NCO and being able to join Ghulams would be really nice. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
    - If Sekban get a resculpt, they would imho be a nice candidate for a "Haqqislam EVA" design. They already have the gyroscopes on the back and closed visors, and Zero-G rules. They would be imho good candidates for forward deployment, similar to Crushers in PanO.
(But honestly, I think the Sekban scults are fine. They look quite futuristic in a down-to earth professional way. I also like that the female models look very sensible. They and the Azra'il are the sculpts that drew me to QK.)

This, Hafza are supposed to be leaders and gone through leadership skills, I would love to see abilities that reflect this. I also hope to see more Nomad intermingling (maybe Aguaciles Wildcards and Mobile Brigada wildcards). I also hope to see elements of the NA2 armies (Mercenary ones) to represent how QK employs them a lot.

    Nice. My top 3:
A Hafza that could give NCO or Number 2 to a Druze or Kapland firetem
Mobile Brigada in a Ghulam link
Azra'il in a Djanbazan or Sekban harris for burst 2 Feuerbach ARO

My expectations are fairly low at this point. I doubt a retired sectoral is going to be amazing. Unless they plan on release new version of the retired models they won't make a demand for them.

I do hope Azrail regain their ability to link, that was my biggest issue I had with N3.5 release.

I personally will be very disappointed to see any more Nomad intermingling. I wished to play and played magharibic space corsairs, who hire whoever they want and whatatever find suitable, not the 5th Quarian sectorial.

@Ariwch I like the parashutist sekban it's Ironic that Space Navy QK just got mercenaris as parashutist, at least a combat jump sekban seems a good idea if it's dep. zone better, I imagine QK playing parashutist list with 4 or more parashutist, will revive QK and it will get charisma.

@Mechanokrat Odaliscas don't got NWI they had NWI since ever, they just got inm shock.

@Mechanokrat As you said that azaril might go down in points I don't trust it, because Alfasid N4 its "Exaclty" the same, and points too (I'm dissapointed with that). But let's see.

In other hand I used the al wasiri when I played kaplan or djanbazan core for cheap my cheerleaders, ghulam 12 points al wasiri 10 points, if you played 3 of them you almost could put a yuan yuan.

I also used Al Waziri in QK, 2 points can make a difference ;)
About the army itself, I'm really interested in how it will look and work. I even thought about it few days ago.
And I'm especially interested in 3 units, that I also like in Vanilla: Djanbazan, Hafza and AzRa'il. I hope that Djan will be mostly like they were, with better MOV and shock immunity. Maybe a bit cheaper - because it still hurts me how cheap is Nisse in comparison.
Hafza is great in hiding the real LT and could get CoC profile, but that's not something really important for me.

The biggest hope (maybe to big) is to make AzRa'il playable again.
I still remember the times of N2 when my long range trio were Djan HMG, Lasqa VSR and AzRa'il FB (he was a bit shorter and slimmer then ;)).
I don't even need some big changes in Azzie's profiles - give them Courage (because such a big guy falling to the ground after bouncing some combi shot is funny) and make them CHEAPER. Let them be the simple solution and quite cheap and tough anti-tank option for Haqq.
If the new, upgraded Janissary with HMG, BS14, costs 41pts, then I hope that AzRa'il AP HMG will be suitably less expensive.

And linkable with Ghulams, just like one Suryat can join Vanguard link team.

Probably Azrail get duo link, with Rafiq FTO, like Al fasid. With this can join with others wildcards like Leila.

Hope Azrail gain veteran, to represent their lore.

For sekbhan, CD 13 and +1 burst, to represent they are musquetiers. Combat jump or advanced deployment can do them look diferent.

Thankyou! I was under the impression with all the uproar about Kosmoflot that Caledonia had been replaced. Surprised to see MRRF back as well.

They've been saying since the FRRM retirement in 2018 that Sectorials that go out of production will always be playable.

Caledonia and MRRF are both out of production. As are the other Second Wave sectorials. Caledonia was, effectively, replaced by Kosmoflot. The nuance is that it is only a replacement in the Catalogue of models that are currently being produced and sold by CB. They were never going to be out of the game itself for too long though.

I will CC with my Odalisque the moment someone wants to cross the table and throw some hands.

They are CC 18. They also inflict -9 when they CC attack. As an added bonus, don't use the close combat weapon, use your multi pistol for damage 13 and choice of ammo.
