Are puppet bots worth it in the context of vanilla Nomads? The 30 odd points that doesn't give you any orders kind of bug me especially when I can get better shooting with a tsyklon spitfire once buffed with a staple HD+ interventor.

it is probably worth it. it does not give orders but doesn't make you lose any order when the enemy slowly gets rid of them. Good mobility (6-4 and all 3 moves every Order), +1B in active and reactive if you have all 3, effectively 2STR.

It's basically a HI Haris in vanilla for the price of Kriza. Bring a Tomcat engineer along as well and it should be well worth its points as long as you keep the puppet master alive.

Think of them like the Nomads Posthumans. Yeah you only one order for the points spent, but the benefit of not loosing orders when they go down, combined with the pressure they can put on your opponent to remove them is a great advantage.

Its a Haris for vanilla and you can also field a specialist in. Also, it allows you to field 13 combative units in a Limited Insertion list. I think it can be worth it in certain lists.
