Hi, I'm looking for ideas on how to better represent the weapons on my models... for example, I want sniper rifle and/or missile launcher fusiliers but I only have combi rifle ones. (and I don`t want to buy a box of basically the same models) Any suggestions?
If not going with the 3D printed options ... for rocket launchers you could attempt to make a simple tube launcher and glue to base. as if it's discarded.
If you don't have access to 3d-printed Infinity weapons, 1/35mm scale model kits of historical / modern weapons are available on the relevant hobby market. I guess 1/48 ones would be likely a closer fit, but back in the day when I used this method, such were not available. 28mm/32mm scale modern weapons are on the market, too. But scale models are (from my experience) way cheaper and easier to get.
If you don't have access to the 3D printer, Monstrous Makings sell physical 3D prints of weapons. I've used them for a number of conversions.
My Ariadnans have a variety of weapons from Warlord Games British WWII weapons sprue. Bren guns as HMGs, Scoped Enfield No. 4 as a Ojotnik, Tommy guns as SMGs, and PIAT as an LRL.
