Yesterday I went to the biggest, largest Event Convention of Games in Northern Italy (Lucca Comics & Games 2018) that concluded Today. . . Speaking with Retailers, Importers, Shop Owners and other people who SHOULD have need to import the "Infinity Miniature Wargame" had confirmed a sad trend that started 2-3 Years ago. . . Apparently ANY retailer that treats EVERY Infinity material that is NOT Boxed Sets (that APPARENTLY in Italy run a different "Retailer Channel", being equated to Boxed Games like Risk, Cluedo or Monopoly !!) is FORCED to overcharge so much Miniature Boxes (single or squads) and similar Material that some Shop Ownere found MORE ECONOMIC to Rent a big wagon truck and go to Essen Spiel in Germany to buy IN BULK much material of Infinity and resell it, with SLIGHT Overpricing at that Convention. . . Especially the Manuals are selling like bread to starving people; the Basic Corebook sell STILL at premium and WHATEVER is after even more, with people fighting to claim the few copies arriving at WHATEVER prices. . . . . . . . Is Corvus Belli own Commercial Agent aware of this. . .?? I ask humbly to @Koni and whatever other C.B. Staff is reading the Forums if there are possibilities to try a DIRECT IMPORT CHANNEL from Spain to a RELIABLE retailer of Italy, cutting Middlemen and Dishonest Overpricers. . . Italian enthusiasts of Infinity Wargame like the feel and Extra Fluff of the 2Manuals "Box" and will GLADLY like more to have SURCHARGES of Import to fill DIRECTLY the coffers of Corvus Belli RATHER than those meddlesome "Fixers". . . A couple of Years ago the Distributor / Retailer of Infinity-Related Material was a Firm that DECIDED to dedicate UTTERLY to the "Force Of Will" Collectible Card Game. . . I DO NOT KNOW if they STILL have the Official Retailer License or not, because at their Stand of the Convention there was JUST "Shop Helpers" that PURPOSEFULLY avoided ANY answers about it claiming only the OWNERS (that are "Casually" UNREACHABLE even by Official Contact Mail) are the ONE to ASK. . . Gleefully and stupidly, some Retailer Importers had EVEN the gall to claim openly "We Like More That, So that FOR Infinity Wargame and the Licensed R.P.G. by Modiphius we can ASK WHATEVER PRICE WE WANT !!!". . . . . . . . Maybe I'm naive about the intricacies of Import / Export but that situation is NOT impacting NEGATIVELY on the Return of Money invested by Corvus Belli. . . . . ???
Spain and Italy are both in the EU, so there shouldn't be any taxes or import duties on products shipped between EU members. (At least as I understand the EUs setup)
Right, no import duties, free movement of persons and products. VAT is a bit more complicated, but not a excuse. In the case of books, it tends to be small. Dickish distribution is a different matter. @stevenart74 if they keep raising prices, at some point it's cheaper to order from abroad, even with stupid prices like UPS/TNT/privatised-country-post-with-insurance/etc sometimes demand. Some post services even give discounts to book-only parcels.

Honestly a thing that I discussed with people annoyed AS MUCH AS ME with that is to collect ENOUGH Spanish-Speaking Persons (a very smart woman, Native of Catalunya, is married with one of My brother best friends and live 75m. FROM MY HOUSE and ANOTHER of my bro besties is Italian, but Native-Speaking level !!) and take this route, but BYPASSING ENTIRELY German Retailers and go in Spain to the NEAREST big shop nearby Corvus Belli physical location to take AT LEAST enough Manuals (Basic Core, Second One, Uprising, Third Offensive) to fill the needs of Northern Italy, after collecting Money beforehand OF COURSE (PRO TIP: NEVER TRUST an Italian Teenager Nerd to Pay You AFTER He obtained the desired object and ALWAYS collect Money BEFOREHAND. . . .!!!) . . . . . Honestly I'm asking for this for OTHER Italian's sake; I STOPPED playing Infinity Wargame when My Exrah Army become UTTER garbage (and went "Into Oblivion" ALONGSIDE the Warhammer 40.000 Squats "Sons Of Anarchy Dwarf Bikers") AND THEN My Dakini-Heavy A.L.E.P.H.-S.W.A.T. Team become so rule-complicate to be ALMOST unplayable. . . . . . . . I care JUST about the links about the Infinity Tabletop Wargame and the Infinity Roleplaying Game. . . BUT ALSO the Printed Books by Modiphius have the SAME kind of Overprice. . . . . . . . It seems that Infinity as a "Media Entertainment Brand" in Italy is regarded as "Niche Stuff for Stupid Nerds who pay ANYTHING for their Fix !!!". . . . . At least the Outrage Comic is ON THE OTHER CHANNEL of retailer distribution and go along the "Risk / Monopoly" boxes cost (You have NO IDEA how MANY Knauf, Vanilla and Pseudo-Jethro, appears on Infinity Tabletops of Italy nowaday. . . . .I saw a Player field AT LEAST THREE modified / Android-Painted Knaufs in a O.S.S. Hmm... POBox or some friend in France, Austria, Slovenia as receiver of boxes? I saw somewhere an Italian company doing the reverse, sending from there ("why do they mention shipping costs from other place!?"), as they are from a frontier city (bingo, mystery solved).

By the way the "Second Manual" that I'm continuosly referencing is "Human SphereN3" boxes set of Rulebook + Fluffbook. . . In 2015 I was able to obtain the FIRST one from the Retailer and then JUST a Year and Half later, asking for H.S.N3, was said by the same: "NOPE! No more interested in importing Infinity Manuals !!!"
