My condolences, but it seems that is not a joke. If you are not getting Achilles v0 or v3, which is as likely at this point as snow surviving more than five minutes in a furnace, he is, indeed, gone to CA. <sarcasm>Which obviously needed more ubersoldiers, they sorely lack their own one man armies.</sarcasm>
To me this is a deal breaker. I have all the models being ejected to the CA, Achilles THREE TIMES because I got the 10 years pack, plus Patroclus. Not going to spend a single euro in this company anymore.

thanks for your 2 cents Child9 but I have lost 7 character now from my faction if any of them are playable in both it goes against every piece of fluff where aleph ices any AI that could be corrupted by the combined. Its frustrating playing a faction and watching CB slowly kill what you like about the faction Patriclus was my favorite game piece. now he sits in a box with a handfull of others teucer, ajax 's best friend is gonna up and leave ... did Disney start writing for CB

Where did you get the information that it is gone from Aleph? All you know is that they will be playable in CA. That's it. Chill Exactly. It can or it can not. So everyone should take a deep breath, chill and wait, instead of whining around like angry kids... This is really tiring, CB cannot do anything new without having a bunch of buzzkills starting to yell the second it's announced.
Well, Patroclus was already removed from Aleph, and for a company that claims "fluff determines the game" (at least when it suits them, looking at you maghiriba guard) then almost certainly these unites will be removed from Aleph since it black boxes any of it's units that are potentially sepsitorized. That is why Perseus is a nomad unit, he ended up captured by the morats but escaped and Aleph won't risk taking him back for fear of corruption. And ofcourse yes, the Ko-dali precedent as well where CA stole a yu-jing character
So, long story short, you don't know what will happen and we should all wait for it before talking... :)
You can run defence all you want, but going by precedents and ALEPH lore, I can guarantee you that unless there is some asspull down the line, these characters are entirely gone from the faction, the lore even justifies removal even if ALEPH can make copies of them (Basically cube 2.0 delete current data and quarantines backups in case of sepsitorization or suspicion of it due to potential for quantic-level corruption of the copy) So yes, we can pretend they're not gone, until, inevitably we will have proof that they are. There is no need for you to tone police the conversation, nobody stops you from gobbling all the SUPER EXCITING AND SHOCKING DEVELOPMENTS! People have a right to be unhappy about it and critical of this decision, just as much as you have one to be happy about it and praise the decision.
is not like you play the game anyway... you bought that figures 10 years ago, they are not amortized? You are not losing an entire army with the new edition (unlike me or other fellow OOP armies players), only some profiles already underused. Be a drama queen in other place
Hmm, just a moment ago I told my local Phalanx / Aleph player - if Achilles leaves Steel Phalanx, the Corinthian Armor model will be a very fine proxy for a Hoplite. After all, there is only one Hoplite sculpt so far anyway (the HMG). Patroclous and ordinary Achilles would make nice Myrmidon Officers. Sometimes oyu might want more than one Myrm Officer, I guess. The named Ekdromoi is simple - he just works as a generic Ekdromoi now. Come on, people :) Improvise, adapt, overcome. We can do this :)
Long story short, I have a theory based on CB's prior actions (Kodali), their stated modus operandi regarding fluff and its impact on the game, and the current state of some of the models being discussed (patroclus). I appreciate optimism, but if Aleph players don't make their voices heard then I doubt these units will remain in Aleph.
