There are rumours on several sources regarding the February 2020 Release on www.o-12.de and mayacast on facebook "And coming in February: Agents of the Human Sphere. RPG Characters Set Mukhtar, Active Response Unit (Boarding Shotgun) The Umbra (Repack) Intel Spec-Ops (Heavy Pistol, Sniper)" Fake? Real? Open for discussion and speculation! :)
I am very suprised the Muhktar Doctor is coming out as a blister, especially after the Nahab box. Clearly the other profiles are going in to the future box. Very odd profile choice though, I feel like if people see Muhktar, it is either in a Haris or solo Red Fury.
sort-of a weak month. is anybody really hurting for another intel spec ops? At least the RPG character box will be neat
The miniatures for my Hassassin Bahram and Corregidor force come from all factions - I use what I like while trying not to mess up with the CB proxy rules :) - so it just depends on the actual sculpt if I like (= buy) it or not. I need pics!
Weak month if legitimate but expected with N4 and Defiance taking likely a lot of mental and physical capacity right now. I'm expecting a slow year for releases.
RE: Umbra Repack. Is there an indication that it's a double repack or a single repack? Is one of the 3 Legates a LE? If not, which of the 3 do you think would make it in a double?
As I posted in the other thread, the list of releases is very short (just three releases and a repack?). Maybe Corvus is releasing something else that is more important that same month.
I wouldn't be surprised by a slow lead to N4. Given that people out there know there are changes coming I can see a reasoning for slower sales until more information about N4 and Code1 are out.
I too am pretty confused by the choice of boarding shotgun Doc profile getting the first mini. Its not exactly first on people's list and it has only one instance on the mukhtar's profiles. Viral rifle or rifle would have been better.
That's what I was thinking... CA starter Umbra is a universal profile, though and there are VERY few lists where you'd bring more than 1 Legate. That said, I already have all 3.
Yeah, when I played Onyx, that spitfire legate was always a Samaritan anyway. Call me crazy, but I like models that aren't threatening to fall down every moment.
I'm excited for another Intel. Really hoping this will be the Kazak one. Hopefully with two seperate arm options. (Love me some spare parts for future conversions)
The Kazak one is the original release... They even used the gas masked head for the Spetsnaz AD variant. I think they showed the Heavy Pistol and Sniper Rifle with the Grunt Intel, so maybe fingers crossed a less dopey Grunt? Hopefully not another "Rosie" situation though.
Kazak spec ops would be nice, as ariana's spec ops blister is for a sectoral that got mothballed. But brawler spec ops sounds like it'd also sell like hotcakes. With all of the mercs that use brawlers. And people just wanting a specific brawler loadout. Honestly I'd like to see all of the spec ops blisters get redone, as they're all starting to show their age. They're really neat miniatures, and spare guns are always a very useful thing to have. Many of the weapons featured have had some form of redesign, resculpt or rescaling and it's be nice ti have conversion fodder for the more recent standard. Any idea exactly which rpg characters are getting miniatures? Is it just a bundle of the hvt ones from the kickstarter? Are these going to be new character profiles?
The original Intel did have heads for both Kazaks and Merovingians but it's really showing its age now. Needs a proper replacement. I expect when the Scots and French get major updates they'll get some new intels too. (Though unlike Grunts and Line Kazaks. Metros and Volunteers are nearly identical stat and skill wise.) Though I agree that most of the spec ops models could use an update. And I would love to see a brawler spec ops.
Actually there's a big box planned for the following month. Remember that the Adepticon 2020 is being held.around the end of March. Therefore between that and Defiance makes sense for a light February releases wise.
