Just a curious. Whats the history / rule that made a peripheral servant not be in a FT or what exploit could there be if they were in one?

Same reason why troops with Peripherals can't join Coordinated Orders.
Imagine an Auxilia a Seraph a Teuton PZF and something else Coordinating BS Attacks against the same target.

A Link Moving around the board while the Engineer's Helperbot stays in the back to repair Remotes is not that broken, but other interactions where 2 Multiactivation rules intersect (Fireteams/Coordinated Orders/Peripherals) would definitely be quite powerful.
