Here's an Infinity rules situation I can't quite figure out. Anyone have a solid take on this? Let's say that Fusilier Angus (blue) blunders into a terrible situation. He moves into LoF of three morat vanguard, two of which are in suppressive fire. The morats shoot from SF/BS AROs, respectively. Angus declares dodge. How will the rolls play out with the SF penalties? A) Dodge is a FtF roll against each target? (-3, -3, 0 - roll once and then apply the penalty vs. value shown) B) Dodge applies all FtF penalties (-6 total) If it's "A," what is a critical success? 10, or 7? Would a rolled "10" be a critical success against all attacks (as the target values would be 7, 7, 10, with individual FtF penalties applied)?
Dodge would be one roll compared against the three attackers separately. So for a Fusilier a roll of 7 would be a crit against the two Suppressive attacks, but just a 7 against the BS Attack. A 10 would be a crit vs the BS Attack, but a failure against the Suppressive attacks. In essence its still 3 separate F2F rolls, you just use the same dodge result for all 3.
The same is true for penalties and taking normal rolls and F2F rolls at the same time. So if you dodge against a BS attack and a Mine at the same time you roll 1 dice and modify it separately for the two necessary resolutions.
