Para CCWs cause the Immobilised-A State If you are in the Immobilised-A State then during the Effects part of the Order sequence, if you are Engaged, then this state is cancelled. That is clear. However what is not clear is if you are no longer Engaged, whether the trooper is physically moved out of b2b. Does the trooper actually still remain in b2b, but not in the Engaged state? Or is it assumed that there is now the tiniest sliver of free space between the two?
There is no need to be physically seperated anymore. In N3 being in BTB alone was enough to be Engaged. In N4 being in BTB with an Unconscious Trooper, Immobilized Trooper etc does not trigger Engaged. So once that happens you can walk away (same as N3), but also stay BTB and draw LOF to things and respond with BS Attacks unlike N3. The other change that goes hand in hand with this is CC Attacks now requiring BTB instead of being Engaged - meaning you can CC things you can't be Engaged with.
Wait... so that means that you can be in BtB with an enemy, but not Engage, and thus suffer from a template hit that will NOT affect the enemy? (Template rules talk about "troopers being engaged" but not about the "Engaged State").
Two engaged models are supposed to be dynamics and difficult to discriminate. A model and a corpse, on the other hand...
Immobilized or unconscious enemies can no longer be used as shields, but you’re still allowed to attack them with CC skills if you so desire.
