Crane Rank Agent. This sculpt is a lot of fun to paint. If anybody asks me which one of the infinity models was the most interesting to paint, I would say this one without hesitation. 2017.06.14.
Sun Tze, 2017.08.27. The face and skin color went a bit awkward, but the armor painting got a bit better with this one I think.
Kanren Counter Insurgency Group, 2017.11.02., Was lacking inspiration on the base, but the metal arm part came out real' good.
Imperial Agent Pheasant Rank, 2017.11.16. Progress with fabric style, and basing. Great pose, great details on this model.
Sorry for this burst-like posting, I promise this will be more slower in the future (as you can see from the dates commented) :) I'm currently working on this su jian (just to add some in progress shots):
The yellow is one of the best I've seen. A slight golden shine with nice transitions to the shadows. The fabric on the cape is also very nice and adds another layer to the sculpt.
Nope, I don't have one (yet). I'm living in a small flat with my little girl and wife so a compressor would be too much of a noise in the evening ours when I usually paint. Thanks, yeah I got this question very often though.
In that case, how on earth do you do that? Does it take a lot of layers and patience? Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
Best airbrush compressor I ever used was a fridge compressor, hooked up to a small tank (or possibly even an accumulator) fitted with a regulator and pressure switches and a neat sheet metal case. Ran absolutely silent and most of the parts were probably gotten for a song from a junk shop. Robert
