Funniest remote to have with Overclock/Enhanced Reaction: CA's Ikadron. 9 pts baggage repeater with Flash Pulse, Pistol and flamethrower XDDD
I see your Ikadron's with Charybdis. The way Supportware works is if more than one apply, you get to choose which one does (see the spoiler). So you have Scylla use to Cybermask Charybdis and then when you get an ARO and want to fire back with them you 'choose to use Overclock instead of Cybermask' and drop Cybermask but get B2 HFT. Spoiler Example of use of Overclock A player who had activated the Assisted Fire Supportware (see Infinity N3) with one of his Hackers now declares the activation of the Overclock Supportware with a different Hacker. As this player possesses a REM (benefiting from Assisted Fire) that also has the Repeater piece of Equipment (and so, able to benefit from Overclock as well), the player now has to declare which Supportware program will apply to this trooper on each Order/ARO while both Hacking Programs are active.[/quote]
Yes, but in Aleph it's less broken because those two are the only remotes with Repeater aside from the Baggage (without weapons) and the Mimetic Flash Pulse ones (which have only flash pulse). I'd be more wary of Bit&Kiss in any CA, whoever, since they have the Ikadrons AND the cybermasked remote (with ADL to make the day of a TAG!) escorting a SMG-toting KHD (3 shots against Scylla's 2 BSG) plus 1 repeater Flash Pulse remote... marginally better, yeah. And yes, the specialist remotes both have Xd
Fair enough. As an aside, hope a REM with a HD (of any description) never gets a Repeater. Assisted Fire and Overclock make ALL equipment B2, this includes Hacking Programs (ie. an EVO can use Assisted Fire on itself to get B2 Brain Blast AROs).
As far as I'm aware, the EVOs carry no repeater, only the other baggage profiles do... But I see your point, yeah.
I fear a little more the Tsyklon Sputnik Feuerbach XD Burst 2 EXP ARO on a BS12 platform... park a total reaction by her side and some pulse flash, enjoy XD
I don't believe so, as it's not an attack. It's a short movement skill and allows you to make a WIP roll. While there are many things about a discover roll that are just like a BS attack (range bands and visibility MODs affecting it), it is not one and has no burst.
