Hey I can't decide between this 2 lists for engineering deck and unmasking, im goin to an its tournament soon and would like your advice at picking one for testing today in engineering deck. The triads are in order from top to bottom, the first list its a bit more aggresive with more options to go to the middle of the table, a bit of a defensive position with the gao rael/sukeul/kaeltar link. This list has a lot more options to field in case my opponent kills my specialists and have a lot of contingency plans but lacks the possibility of getting people up with paramedics. The second one I tried to be more defensive setting two triads one with ML and the other one with gao rael, both with paramedics, the idea is to take control of the consoles with de clipsos and the neema link but if everything goes wrong i think i'm in a bigger disadvantage with this list. Would like to know your opinions, thanks in advance! I miss Burst 4 from both of them. Imo Kaeltar are good enough for generic specialist, you don't necessarily need to bring around Kamaels. Chaksa HFT are cool. When you have a problem, throw a Chaksa HFT at it. If it doesn't go away, throw another one at it. Repeat as necessary.
Mostly take the xenotech to the middle and set it in suppression mode, the first list has a potential of 5 orders 4 from group and the lt one, i think it should be enough to get where i need in one turn, maybe 2 if i need to be extra careful
Interested to see how the lists went. I'd be trying to fit in a Sukeul HMG or a linked Spitfire in for that B4+1 active piece. At the moment you have your SWC in long ranged pieces that will benefit from more defensive players but can really see your triads being long/medium ranged threats. You don't need them to be that necessarily but you'd be using a lot of orders smoking up field which then puts the triad at risk.
Hello!, I ended up trying the first one and it worked Ok but just that, I didn't take in consideration that there was a huge building in the middle and left my right flank more or less undefended, rasail did her job of securing the xenotech. Yes, it was a bit order intensive when I had to go to the middle of the table but my opponent used a horde list so everything died relatively easy, anyways after that and a few list building ideas crossing my mind I changed the whole 2 lists for the tournament tomorrow.
