Onyx vs. Shas.

LT camoed and a core to go control the techcoffin (plus, bonus mission have +3WIP on Medics/paramedics) and place mines in them, if you play against shasvastii your chances are that half of your list are anticamo-specialists and the mines into frontline, will help a lot against those markers. Besides, if you cover a list of shroudeds with autemedkit or malignos too, the shock of the mine can cause them havoc, by killing it directly.

With the Rodoks and are 4 of them, with templates and shotguns, ideal to face the negatives of camouflage in short distances and Core bonus.

3 or 2 HMG in the list. with the possibility of adding 1 rodok missile launcher or 1 makreep with the same points with multi sniper, apart from 1 q-dron hmg. Besides, you'll need to go for the panoplies as you go.

EVO + Q-drone, a hacker although more expensive than a nexus for the assisted shot, also a trump card to counteract the WIP of the shaasvasti hackers and including the Bit of the rival with the kaleidoscope program and kill her with your Bit. Added: if you prefer a core of unidrons what you will earn is to counteract the mines of the shrouded miners (bcs you are remote...), canceling the shock effect, but with them you should go with an EVO + M.dron to be able to use the sensor or stalock bonus with an EVO sinergie to find and kill the TOs with mark state bonus too . As for the Rodoks, you can replace the M-drone and facing directly with a -3 applied by mimetism always, to part that, remember that you have to advance in this mission, they have easier these last ones than the unidrons.

2. List of 10, with core of gwailos + hasts + sheeskin, dr. Worm, Bit & Kiss + remote.

3. List of 10 with noctifers, malignos, shrouded, and speculo.

4. List of 10 with all camouflaged and Sphinx.

Take care about with this, always as a minimum, 1 or 2 noctifers and 1 or 2 speculo, being its their sectorial.

As for lieutenants, almost always the safest will always be 1 Asuang in marker state on all shaasvastii lists, that is: forget to go hunting him.

So, maybe your opponet if he can win LT rolls, peraphs taking go as 2sncd. This mission have a nice win rate if you going 2scnd, bcs, you can go to kill the specs on the coffins and pushing hard in your first turn... and shaasvasti can do this easy. So, if you take going 1st, take care positioning your rodoks core for their active turn with noctifers, so... care too on advance with that ML aros firing in your team when you going to activate the link. Your best deals against this with Rodoks, are from the ZC mines and templates, alo if he can bring a Sheeskin, you can go with advantage against her= mimetism vs nanoscreen.

To which, playing with Onyx you have almost the same tools; x2 noctifers, malignos x2, sphinx and that option to spend 1 noctifer for your LT in front of the speculos. 1 minimum msv2, core with sixth sense and templates, against this types of camo armies.

Something I've found helpful vs. Impersonators is to hold the Medchanoid as my reserve if I'm going second, so I can put both of the slave drones in lof to an impersonator that the enemy lays down, make them have to deal with being discovered by those guys. And if they spend orders dealing with them... great, they spent orders killing a slave drone and not your guys that actually matter.

 

Onyx Vs Shasvastii is... a bad pairing, frankly. You will need the Maakrep without a doubt (because all IMP troops carry smoke grenades, and can decide to use those if they can't reach their target alive), and then as many templates as you can fit: Ikadrons are a good option, and the Dr Worm + 2 wormites is a good trick. Then the Suryats CAN do a number if properly geared (they are HI, can't be Isolated, and have good profiles with flamethrowers), but that's about the full extent of your bag of counters. The good side is that Shasvastii does not have much in the way of MSV2-3, so you can try to use your own TO/Mimetic troops (Sphinx, Malignos, Noctifer, Rodok or Total Reaction).

Another option is gear for Speculative Fire too, but you can't target Markers, so you need to discover something. It is, however, a way to hunt those pesky shasvastii hiding close to their mines: discover the mine and fire a circular template at it (shame Onyx doesn't have access to Krakot).
