Objective Terrain/Model Checklist I'm creating a checklist for all Terrain/Model Objectives in game. So far this I what I have. I know the Civies and Xenotech are Standard size 2 models. But what are the Base and Size of the other objectives. I'm going to set about putting together a complete set of all this for my games. I feel like you could end up with more HVTs or Civies somehow and I'm looking for max needed to play. Please let me know if I am missing anything Comma Antenna/AC2 9 -40mm Tech coffin 3 -40mm Panoplies 3 -40mm Enemy becon 2 -25mm Consoles 5 -40mm Heating units 4 -40mm Civie 8 + 2 HVT -25mm Xenotech 1 -25mm (Of course I'll be using models for the civies and xenotech) Supply Boxes 3 -These are Tokens ?
I think we have an answer by Hellois somewhere in this forum. Short version: All Silhouette 3 but for all civilians (rescue, catch em all, HVT, Xenotech) and Beacons , which are S2. I think you can work with just 9 size 3 markers and 2 size 2 markers (beacons), leaving the civilians to grab (around 6-8, can't remember how many would be on the table for Catch 'em all). Also, I think maybe those "civilians" for Catch 'em all were S1 :S
Please note that objectives and other scenery items do not have a Silhouette Attribute, that's specific to troopers and deployables. So it's just a base size that's needed for the objectives. Rescue requires a total of eight Civilians, plus the two HVTs.
Where do you need 5 Consoles? In Transmission Matrix it's 5 Antennas, not Consoles. All 40mm except Civilians and Beacons (25mm). And you might need an Objective Room for 2 missions.
Tic-Tac-Toe needs 9. For what I remember, all scenographic elements were in a 40mm base but for the beacons, which had a base of 25mm, as IJW specified. The "S" of the consoles/antennas/etc" would be, literally, what could be seen on the element, and if using a marker, then they would have no vertical height (providing no cover whatsoever).
Yeah, but antennas. Well, the objectives have no silouhette value, just a base size. But can you take cover behind them, like, are them scenary as well?
From the Scenery Structure rules, http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Scenery_Item_Profile#Representing_Props In game terms, both the official Infinity pieces of terrain and any you create yourself provide Cover just like regular pieces of scenery and terrain. However, if you use Markers instead of physical, three-dimensional pieces of scenery, these do not provide Cover of any kind.
@ijw That's why I'm trying to get the scenery stuff together that way I'm using the right Size and Providing cover which seems important to me.. I've updated the first post for correct base sizes let me know if I got anything wrong guys... Making these kind of terrain pieces seems like it would be a lot of fun and I don't mind making a little box of them What do you think would be the upper limit of heights on each of these bases? And thank you for the input I need this kind of help from you guys
