I'm having some doubts as to how to assemble the new O-Yoroi. The notches on the left arm don't seem to match up, there's a big nub at the stock of the gun that doesn't seem to slot into a corresponding space on the body. Is this a miscast? Production error? or am I missing something? https://imgur.com/a/kpbCKcm
I think, it is better to ask CB for replacement. I had some problems with a miniature, but I didn’t understand what it was. Send request. If something wrong - they would make replacement. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...ity-control-codes-tutorial.26928/#post-207172
We're talking about this line and the misalligned slot, right? So, what most likely happened is that one or both of the pieces warped a bit (seems common with siocast) and do not fit all too well with each other. I'm not sure this reaches CB's threshold for miscast for siocast (no idea what said threshold is tbh), but you can try. If they don't send you a new one, or the new one isn't much better, what you can do is enlarge the indentation with an exacto knife or similar. Since the hole will be covered by the arm nothing will be visible. Or you can cut the protruding tab on the arm entirely and rely only on the flat surfaces and maybe some epoxy putty (green stuff, milliput, pick your own stuff) to provide contact for the glue. As siocast is light and glues with super glue well, it won't be a significant issue.
I had to pin all the connections for the arms and hands, so you are definitely not the only one. You could probably try and ask for a replacement if you're not comfortable doing it yourself. In any case, the quality is shoddy and CB needs to get their siocast in order or let it go.
