    Hey! greeting all
I'm a newby with a couple of months of play in the back, but for some reason I signed for a local tournament (obviously knowing I'm gonna get dusted for good) but trying to get the most out of it. The missions are Looting and Sabotagin, Quadrant control and Acquisition. As I was trying to shape the list I'd apreciate some help/constructive criticism/new ideas from you more experienced players!

I'm not fully happy with them but that's the most I've come up with! Thanks in advance

Might be helpful if you outline your strategies for each. Below are some thoughts from my experience, although I wouldn't call myself a great player.

For quadrant control and acquisition, Zhencha are your friends. They start midfield (by the objective or about to enter enemy quadrant), they're specialists, and the camo state makes them very hard to dislodge. I've found that they can activate an antenna, lay a mine, and then go back to camo or into SF with SMG. Makes it very hard to dig them out, especially if your opponent is suffering -9 mods from camo + cover + SF. Just watch out for enemy infiltrated hackers/minelayers.
Your Daoying should already start in one nearby quadrant and you then just have to move your fireteam out of deployment to control another. For acquisition I've used the Mowang as Datatracker to make a last round dash for the tech coffin. Can take on most threats and pretty hard to put down.
That leaves some points and space for dedicated attack pieces, maybe a Liu Xing to walk on backfield in turn 2/3 to prune points or distract and soak up orders.

Looting and sabotaging is quite different.
It's all about strong anti-material options and defence. Luckily we've got one of the most resilient armies for defence. Whether it's a Zuyong or Zhanshi core I always bring the Haidao and the Son-Bae. Haidao for obvious reasons but the Son-Bae because B2 BS18 EXP (in good range band and ignoring cover thanks to assisted fire) is an incredible long range threat. Zhanshi FO in a fireteam are equally annoying to dislodge due to their flash pulse.
Sabotaging pieces really come down to the Hulang, Zhencha, or Liu Xing in my mind. Yes the Hac Tao and Haidao have DA CCW/D-charges but you have to get them to the target. Hac Tao has TO camo to help but still a lot of points and a lot of orders.
Once there the Hulang is most efficient with his CC and MA but suffers from being an easy target. The other two have safer approaches but might take longer to damage it. Personal preference but take at least 2 for when one inevitably fails!

Hopefully that stream of consciousness was helpful. Give me a little time and I'll dig out lists I've used in those missions successfully.

And welcome to the Invincible Army!

My approach actually as probably the newest to the game is kind of being able to have a response to whatever could happen, as I'm sure most of my opponents will have plenty tricks up the sleeve so I'd say the main goal is to exploit that defensive power you mentioned.
Zencha and Krokam are a couple of good pieces as zencha get's me most of the midfield control with those mines, as well as Krokam with the marat/mitter combo.
Going strong on D-charges seems pretty logical, as CC DA is pretty low on unit availability, and more given that the hulang is a piece of candy advancing towards the middle of the opponent zone. I don't know how the tables are gonna be setup or how dense in sceno are they gonna be so I'd rather not trust in getting some cover on top of the mimetism, so probably Liu Xing+Zencha seems more solid then

    Thanks for your time!
