I'm trying to build this list for the simpler missions of 20x20, specifically primary missions 1-10, and secondary missions 1-15. My friend and I are still learning the game, and haven't yet integrated command tokens and terrain rules yet, but we have most of the basics and hacking down pretty well. Im not familiar with the 20x20 missions, but love the low tier (200pts) scenarios. Maybe because theyre not so much of a commitment, maybe because Haqq is brutally effective at it. Your list seems well rounded, with good variety of specialists. Im just hoping they are as important in 20x20, as they used to be in ITS... To be honest I aint a big fan of the AP rifle bazouk, specially since heavily armoured targets arent too likely show up in 200 pts. For 2 pts less you get the BSG, which is awesome to wreak enemy lines. For 5 point less you get the SMG, which may not look like much in paper, but are great up close or in suppression. Not sure what I'd do with those extra points, tough... maybe squeeze a couple more for a yuan yuan
The reason I added the AP rifle Bashi is because my friend mostly plays MO and knight-focused PanO, and in the games we've played, I've had a hard time getting through their armor. Though, if I downgrade to an SMG Bashi, I can squeeze in a Yuan Yuan and a Warcor. Thoughts?
the smg is better because its shock or AP, although its shorter range but that shouldn't matter. you also get a more versatile kit, and don't forget that going into suppressive actually makes the submachine gun better at longer ranges :)
IMHO the yuan yuan is one of the greatest assets of QK, and I'd recommend you get familiar with them fast.
For same points as Bashi AP rifle you may get a combi one, who brings e-mauler to the table. Those are basically E/M mines, very annoying for any HI. Plant one in trigger area of a HI link team and then hack (oblivion) them with your Al-Hawwa, that is one tough choice for MO player, as they can either dodge or reset, meaning one of those hit them with no opposition (only BTS safe).
Oh, Boarding Shotgun one is nothing to sneeze at, either. I've murderized more than one Fireteam with that!
I would probably take the Rifle+LSG, you lose out on AP but get a lot. Drop shotguns are always great though, my Hellcat BSG is often a key unit. Parachutist hurts that weapon the most, unfortunately, because positioning is so important with shotguns.
