Valkyrie is indeed huge, but Hannibal's render in that one isn't the same scale and angle as the other three.
from the pictures of the models in the table, Hannibal seemed as tall as Senor, and Laxmee seemed smaller because of the pose. That's probably the renders. Although I do like the fact Valkrye is as tall as Maximus
I was at LVO last weekend where bostria showed off some of the new minis straight from the factory and believe me, the new standard of quality on these plastic minis blow the original plastics out of the water by a HUGE margin. It is really unbelievable how detailed the new boardgame plastics are.
That’s good to hear that the plastic quality is improving. I think the core box plastics look really good for a board game already.
We've been telling since Core was published that plastics quality were been improving. SoF will be the proof of that. For sure. We are very glad and happy for the work our Sculpture Dept. has made in that way.
To put it into perspective, Laxmees hair braid details were easily visible and quite crisp, and so was the texture on the inside of Valkyries pelt. Id say the new plastic is somewhere between the core box and dare i say resin. Its a harder plastic that appears to be more likely to break than bend if flexed TOO far, but is still a strong plastic. Overall a great improvement.
