So she will be part of the Spiral Corps roster, although the exact loadouts and point values might be different than those from vanilla Tohaa (I'm hoping for an asterisk loadout similar to other previewed units). How do you reckon she will fare in the new faction? Bostria did "recommend" her as a nice expansion to the Spiral Core starter, so maybe they have something in the works for her in that regard.

Taagma Schemers do seem like valid competition for the LT spot thanks to counterintelligence, but a Triad with Neemas LT order as fuel seems interesting in its own right (as well as her superior WP 15). Apart from the Reex I don't believe we have seen another Spitfire profile and with her BS13 she might do well as part of a Triad with Taagma Tricore and Kosuil Engineer with a walking Draal Stratocloud support nearby (depending how this thing interacts with team members) to contest linked ARO threats.

Even without a special profile for Spiral Corps, she can provide the same role she already does in vanilla Tohaa: just shoot and kill everything. Give her a Symbiomate and she can last for a very long time; give her a Symbiobomb and she can perform powerful attacks or heal another fallen tropper without LoS.

Even if the enemy manages to get very close, he can stand on her own in Close Combat or shoot deadly thanks to her Viral Pistol. And if a hacker tries to get her, WIP 15 and BTS 9 usually makes the oponent to waste Orders in vain.

Combining her stats with Tricore and Stratocloud would make her similar to a HMG Sukeul (less powerful but more resilient). She is also a great candidate for shooting through a Mirrorball.

with kaeltar's ava being only 1, you prolly wont't be running her with bombs unless mates get nerfed. hopefully she will get a new weapon loadout or two in spiral. they seem more shooting focused than tohaa, and it would make sense for a big character like her to have a cooler gun

Neema is a verified badass, and a triad of Neema, a specialist and (insert Spiral Corps replacement for Makaul) is a proven effective tactic in vanilla Tohaa. Spiral lacks the crazy backup firepower that helps clear a path against things her Spitfire can't handle, but really just seems like it can plug and play the same basic strategy.

Spiral corps don't really have a replacement for a makaul but they do have the tri-core Taagma schemer profile. Interesting times.

Huh. I never realised this before but against a target with any lower BTS than ARM, Neema's viral pistol in CC mode is pretty savage (ups her from 63% chance to kill to 73% chance to kill against a typical line infantryman for example). That's pretty interesting.

Neema being part of SC was one of the sweetest announcements they made imo.
I only run her in LI lists in vanilla since I like having plenty of orders there and the Sukeul HMG is just so damn efficient.

Also, effective ARO pieces are expensive in vanilla. I often need those points to squeeze in another Nikoul or Gao-Rael.
With Helots on AVA 3 and the Sukeul as well as the Gao-Rael mot being in SC, that might change.

In addition to that, Neema with Core-Link bonusses sounds terrifying.

That's far from sufficient. Snipers usually have to go toe to toe against HMGs and other Snipers. B1 on 11s with only one wound usually won't do the trick. I often use SMG Kaauri for DZ control, though.

Its plenty effective for certain jobs. A cheap ARO piece guarding attack avenues against warbands or specialists is a great use for something like this. I personally prefer a linked Kamael sniper though for the B2 in this role.

I disagree. From my experience, by the time a specialist advances, even resilient Snipers like the Gao-Rael or the Nikoul are taken out or have gone prone. Hopefully, they,ve stripped the opponent from plenty of orders before doing that, though.
However, your playstyle and meta might differ from mine by a great margin and if this strategy works for you, it might be just as viable as mine.

If I had to put an unlinked 1-wound sniper down, it would be a clipsos, though. Giving your opponent that sweet -9 modifiers. :)

Back to topic: Judging by the information we have about SC so far, Neema will be a staple in my Lists.
I also do hope that she will get another profile with some spicy weapons.

How would you alter her loadouts then? I'm hoping for some sort of Visual Mod or Nanoscreen. Alternatively, give her the option to bring a symbiomate herself (and make new sculpts for those while you're at it).

I'd love to see Neema go viral. SC really lacks viral ammunition so far. The dream of a Viral Spitfire will never come true, though, as inflicting up to 10 wounds with one order would simply be broken.

Maybe she'll get an HMG instead, since SC still lacks a good HMG platform atm.

The Taagma Schemer MSV2 has a Viral Sniper and Neema does have her Viral Pistol still, so we're not too bad on that front.

How about Biometric Visor since SC is supposed to be the anti-shasvastii force? It wouldn't do much to her overall effectiveness but add a little flavour and functionality when pitted against impersonators.
