When dodging a mine that is outside of your LOF, is the roll PH-3 (like it says on p.83, only one MOD applies) or is it PH-6 (like it says on p.86, in the example)?

The rules text is the correct version.

Presumably this would also retroactively correct for the way it is listed in the C1 rulebook? On C1 p.64, where a similar red-bordered box appears, it doesn't specify the "only one -3 mod".

So this would also apply to circumstances where you're being attacked by a Trooper within your ZoC but outside your LoF (-3 to Dodge) and they are shooting a template weapon like a Shotgun or flamethrower at you (again -3 to Dodge a template weapon out of LoF)? The result is just -3 and not -6?

It's kind-of weird because it never struck me as wrong to make these penalties cumulative - since obviously they represent progressively harder-to-react-to circumstances.
