My Slow Paint Onyx (and many other random minis)

    How did you do that base? Is that printed, or did you paint it?

    Looks like crackle paint. Craft paints or miniature paints. Or maybe home made (PVA and other tricks).
    Best is the transparent craft one... ice. Or any other thing with paint on top.

    Yeah, i thought that too - but i can't tell if it's got depth, or it's just simulated depth with paint... cause if it's the latter.. WOW!

    3D, you can see the big block in her left side is raised. Compare front picture to left side picture.
    From the left you don't see the dark line nearest to the feet (followed by two small blocks, then another pair, then foot in ground over more blocks). But from front, you can see it.

    It’s GW Agrellan Earth paint. Anyhow I have started on cleaning, drilling and filing Scarface.... this will take me some time to paint.......much bigger than I thought.

    So, what colour are you glazing that Mecha Colour red with? Are you using a glaze medium?

    Not using mecha colour at all. Just blood red from vgc. I used vgc gory red, blood red, blood red + sunny skin tone, blood red + ivory. Then glazed blood red to tone down the harshness

    Ahhh - I saw the Mecha Colour red in the background and assumed. Looks awesome.
