UPDATE JUNE 2023 This thread was created to help players identify sculpts from the current Corvus Belli catalog for their armies. There are overview sheets for every vanilla faction, all 33 current sectorials, and all Code One factions. You can find all the sheets as of June 2023 here: For older versions, visit the superordinate folder here. Important What you see in the thread below is my original progress starting late 2020. Those sheets, however, are obsolete by now. Please refer to the sheets in the Drive folder for the most recent versions. Background When I came back to Infinity in 2020, I had huge troubles remembering which unit of which faction was represented by which model (and in some cases which model of a given starter set was which unit). This was especially true for factions where every unit looked almost the same (*cough* Shasvastii *cough*). So I made some (shitty) model overviews for myself for each sectorial to have an idea which was what. Then some cool guy on reddit started posting these, which were like a limited version of what I had on my hard drive. Intrigued by how shiny they were, I got his permission to use his template to make prettier versions of the whole range of models for every sectorial. I started posting them on reddit, too, but thought they might be helpful here too. Starting with March 2023, these sheets are updated with the newest releases every month. For older versions, visit this Google Drive folder. README Notes The sheets only list units, meaning profiles that have their own unit logo in the army app. This means stuff like koalas, tinbots and pilots are shown with their respective units (names in brackets). I tried to keep the order of units like the official one: LI, MI, HI, TAG, REM, SK, WB. If these leads to visual problems, however, I took the liberty of rearranging some unit types. In order to keep a consistent appearance, I don’t include artworks or renders (except for TAG Raid and Defiance where there are no pictures of painted models). These sheets are meant for people who want to know what's currently available for their army. That's why they only include the current, regularly available product catalogue of Corvus Belli’s miniature game Infinity the Game. Whenever new models are released that replace old models, those are taken out of the sheets. For everything else, especially very old and limited edition models, please refer to Human Sphere. Exceptions to point 4 are: Exclusive releases when there is no regular release available yet. For example, Bounty Hunters only show the regular model, even though there have been a couple of additional exclusive sculpts over the years. Kickstarter releases that don’t have a regular release version yet. This includes TAG Raid and Defiance releases. Units/characters where every sculpt is currently out of production or a limited edition. Otherwise, it would look like there have been no minis released for this unit at all (i.e., half of Tohaa). However, for units where some sculpts are in print and some sculpts are OOP, only the in-print ones are shown (for example, Thorakitai in Steel Phalanx). These exceptions are marked with corresponding asterisks (for example, DF for "Defiance Kickstarter Exclusive").
General notes for the 1.0 sheets: I am only including exclusive releases when there is no regular release available yet. So for example, Bounty Hunters only get the regular models displayed even though there have been a couple of additional exclusive sculpts. The same goes for Defiance releases. I only take the ones that don’t have regular releases yet. I try to avoid OOP minis unless they are crucial to the sectorial/unit. All of the above are marked on the sheets with asteriks. I only list units separately if they have their own unit logo in the army (with the exception of tinbots if they can go to more than unit). So stuff like koalas and pilots go to their respective units. I try to have an order of LI, MI, HI, TAG, REM, SK, WB, Characters, Mercs, but it doesn’t always pan out on the sheets so I will move some stuff around in a way that still tries to make sense. I won’t include artworks or renderings, just to keep a consistent appearance. More notes for specific sectorials under the respective pictures. Svalrheima: I took the LE Jotum because he's on a 55mm base compared to the old model, but I didn't mark him as exclusive since there is a regular model available and it would have been confusing for newbies. I also decided against putting all 11 available Fusiliers up there but instead replaced the standard three from Icestorm with the standard three from Kaldstrøm. Would have been simply too much. I know the Auxbot is the one from the Seraph, but the paintjob was the one that matched the best with Svalarheima, and the model is always the same anyway. I know all the SP stuff is still available until Jan 1st, but I want these to last at least a little while, so I marked them OOP already. That's also why I took the bootleg Penthesilea. She seems to stay in production, while the regular model won't. I know there's a regular Aristeia mini for Hippolyta, but I decided to keep these sheets in the Infinity range. Steel Phalanx:
Neoterra: I know there's some inconsistency here. I didn't put in the old Aquila and Swiss Guards from the NCA starter, simply because they would have clashed too much with the new models. I did put in the Bolts and Hexa though, because they look the same, and at least the Bolts are all OOP anyway.
Edit: I realized I had the low resolution pictures uploaded. Replaced them all with their high-res versions. Now they're actually useful :P
YJ White Banner: EDIT: Yaofang Long Ya was missing. Didn't even know it existed until someone pointed it out to me.
With the Cheerkiller box painted I could finally finish this one. I think this is the first sectorial I've found with no limited/defiance/oop models... EDIT: Apparently, Bounty Hunters can't have motorbikes anymore. The model is still in production, but it disappeared from the Booty table, so I took the model out.
I went against my rule with this one and included the two renders of Jaan Staar and Kendrat, simply because I'm not sure there will ever be official paintjobs for those two Defiance models.
Very nice!!! Very appreciated! I did not get, why you excluded all those obscure miniatures - they are the ones, that are most difficult to identify, because they are rare or too old to fit into the known theme. Is it because it is even more timeconsuming? (If you had boxes printed in front of the names, it would be like those toycollection-posters back in the days... )
Thanks guys! You mean why I didn't put everything that's OOP and exclusive in those sheets? If so, because I wanted to make these for beginners, and so a) I didn't want to clutter them too much with 2nd and 3rd versions of every mini (the sheets would have only gotten even more massive then), and b) I wanted to give a picture of the armies as they are (mostly) available right now, so only stuff people will actually find in the shops. But if there is a majority that wants to have these sheets with every miniature ever produced, I can make those too. I guess...
Next come the angry space baboons and the noble space police: Question to CB: Why did you put a unit in your new and shiny sectorial that you just discontinued? Kinda makes no sense to me. Those Knights of Santiago are way too cool to keep off the shelves anyway. Would be a good time to bring them back ;)
I know they're not the most popular release ever, but calling O-12 "baboons" is a bit harsh =D This is a great community resource! Thank you!
I dunno man, reading their fluff in the N4 book I think "baboons" is pretty polite for the screwed up stuff they do. I love (read:hate) how we still don't have a mini for the Montesa.
This is pure speculation on my part, but I know for a fact that MO is CB's baby and is an army they will insist on trying to make it work. So with that in mind; I heard some talk about a future rework with (amongst other things) the Holy Sepulchre Knight being remade into a S6 HI, so it wouldn't be out of the question to remake the Santiago Knights and attach them in to O-12. Again, the later part is pure speculation
