Hey all, haven't posted in a while. Earlier today I was checking a late birthday present to myself & the new Lizard I treated myself to dry fitted like this (see attached). Hoping CB will replace (already emailed mispack). Oddly a Stigmata that came in the same order looks like it'll fit together beautifully.[IMG]

OK. Seem to be having trouble uploading the image. Any suggestions folks?

I had a totally bent weapon on the Agamemnon (you know these MP40 from WW2 that were designed to shoot around corners? like that). But using hot (not boiling) water let me straighten that out with ease.

But I do not know if the piece on the right of your pic is just bent or a real miscast. If it is bent I would try with hot water (and if it fits cool it down with cool water immediately).

Give the CB a couple business days to reply to your miscast claim. My bet is they'll recognize it and send you a replacement part.

If not, or if the replacement part turns out to be just as bad (I had such a problem with 2gen Maghariba, which is a metal model: the top and bottom of the hull didn't fit together flush, and the replacement upper hull I got from CB didn't help things), I'd suggest dry-fitting it to the best possible match, gluing them, then filling the gaps with greenstuff (or whatever modelling putty you use). Sculpt it to match the existing armor panels - for me, a toothpick works best as the sculpting tool.

It might seem difficult at first, but it is not that much of a deal. Also, there will be other parts overlapping, won't they?
And after all, once it is painted, no-one should be any wiser :P
