(0 | 30) 3 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army So I had an idea about using Mine Dispenser along with Traktor MULs to use 1 combat group to just continually bombard the field with mines. 4 orders to lay down mines and 2 orders to refill the mines. Meanwhile the 1st combat group has 11 orders to tool around with the main link and the Streloks.

btw. how does mine dispenser interact if you use it to put mine in ZoC of enemy marker, but you see area where you would put mine? You have to pass BS first, and then pas WIP?
Zone of control is fine. Just not in the 'trigger area' of the mine. You only need a wip test to intuitiave attack a mine in base contact with yourself and with an enemy camo or TO market in the trigger area.
So how do you place mine in trigger area or you can't do it? Since you can do it with intuitive attack.

Though it looks very fun! with range it has, you can just shoot mine so it covers enemy link team, and let em risk killing stuff or waste orders on discovering and destroying mine with other units. If you have 4 of them, that means you can coordinate order and launch 4 mines? 4 guys, with fireteam duo(you can spend 2 orders to move them all 12"), move them 8, launch mines up to 16 for +3 range, and you have mines on position, go into supression :D Depending on the mission this can be very nasty for 2 orders total and 1 command token(4 mines up to 36" from your DZ) and 4 guys in suppression for 1 order and command token more.
Hm. I think that in Coordinated Order all Dynamo's would have to shoot at the same point. So you'll have four mines in one place. But I'll have to check it/someone else would need to confirm.
Correct, except that mines can't "overlap" so you're essentially getting 4 chances (and spending 4 disposables) to put one mine down.
You can do it if there is another figure in the area not in marker state. You just can’t do it if the marker is the only thing there.
So I've had 2 games with this list. The Mine Launcher is as gross as expected. Though spec firing the mine even in optimal range bands is a toss up what with needing 9s. I expect dismounting so the Dynamos can maneuver a little easier might be a thing so they can occasionally get some direct fire onto the target point. If you go first and can put down 3-4 mines in the midfield it gives the enemy fits.
