Back in July the Infinity twitter tweeted this image Which makes perfect sense, however going over N4 wording all the cover rules speak about the "target" getting cover and such, whereas "target" is described as follows. Which to me sounds like they are valid to benefit from cover again, though I'd rather it fall on the other side. Anything I'm missing here?
Yes: where @HellLois gracefully admitted that he's not perfect and that Twitter statement was in error. It was in the Code One rules section.

I've been playing over two years and never given them cover (unless they were in marker state). the more you know. all deployables that way i take it?
Technical rules readings got really messy. Nothing really broke broke, but there were some nonsensical inconsistencies that bubbled up.
