Hi everyone! Can someone explain to me the purpose of Minelayer on Bit and in which situation it could be useful? I have a bit of trouble understanding, as she has no particular deployment skills... Is the ability to drop a repeater in you DZ before the game of any use? Thanks,
Yup. It's a low cost complement to your Ikadron coverage and primarily first-turn obstacle for opponents that rely on heavy infantry, remotes or TAGs so that they find it more difficult to push/land into your DZ. It's also an inconvenience for lists that're pushing hackers into your zone as they're easily overwhelmed by Combined's KHD-intensive hacking - so double trouble for the likes of Daofei (infiltrating heavy infantry) Hacker. Most of all, though, it's a way to have a similar function to the regular Repeater version of BIT, but on a Marker-capable version of the unit.
