   Minelayer skill is used to deploy a mine during deployment. An enemy camo marker is in the mine trigger area. Does the minelayer model need to pass a intuitive attack check to place the mine?

   It can't place the mine at all, the first bullet point under the minelayer skill specifically spells that out.
