    How do you resolve the deployment for a Minelayer trooper deploying a mine with a Camo Marker that seems to be within Trigger Area?

    1. Do you place your model.
    2. Place your mine.
    3. Measure the trigger area.
    4. Remove the mine if the camo is inside and go back to #3.

    Or is the mine removed and lost at number 4?

    Do you have to measure and give away that it is a mine?

    Can you just lay down your template on the table and try to fiddle with there the trigger are would be to make it as close as your opponent's marker?

    This is sort of Zone of Control skills all over again, but this time the skill in question takes place outside of normal Order Sequence. Like with Sixth Sense the initial answer would probably be;
    1. Deploy both your Minelayer and the Mine at the same time.
    2. Take out the teardrop template and test if the enemy Marker is inside Trigger Area.
    3a. Redeploy Mine if it is. Go back to 2.
    3b. Done if it is not.

    That might not hold true for a second take on the skill, though

    1-2: Deployment rules for infinity aren’t very well defined. Some players insist that minelayer/ambush camo ZoC must be measured and/or that mine/ambush camo must be deployed immediately after deploying the trooper. Some players don’t.
    3-4: Latest FAQ opened up premeasuring for deployment phase. Some players think that it allows everything (including but not limited to optimal template placement tests). Some players don’t.

    You have agree with your opponent how these rules should be interpreted.
