Been contemplating this army for a couple days now.
It's not focused on links, as I feel that links aren't a huge factor toward MO's success. MO links are extremely expensive, let alone the cost of the units required to support them. This isn't to say that I don't appreciate the value of the faction's heavy infantry. I'm simply not convinced that they are best when clumped together.
I think what makes MO heavy infantry great isn't their ability to defend themselves and assault enemies with superior shooting and strong modifiers. Its the fact that they don't need to fear flat-out dying from a stray shot or a single ARO. They can move toward their objective even through enemy fire and come out alive. And even when they do fall, they have PanOceania's best revivers by their side swiftly in the form of the glorious Hospitallers and Knights of Montesa. Armor, Wounds, and their mediocre version of V:Courage is what makes them viable.
    That's the theory :)

Regardless, this list isn't even focused on HI. Its main weaknesses look to like:
    1) mediocre defense against Vis Mods
    2) Poor Lieutenant defense

My plan for dealing with 1 is a) using some Vis Mods of my own and b) fire.
My plan for 2 is use her coordinated order to keep her allies close. If she's flanked by flamethrowers, drop bears, and flash pulses she may not be worth going after.

Anyway, I'm interested in thoughts and opinions.

    Thanks!

I'm not really conviced by your arguments, but if that's the way you wanna go "just do it" !

    May I suggest a few changes ?

I think the buleterre will be starving for orders to attack. So you could move it to G1.
And I don't think the sergent multisniper can last long. As a Thermo Optical Sniper he will have much better chances. Also, as an ARO piece, I would put hime in G2 (unless you think it's an attack piece, then it belongs to G1).

Here is what I get with minimal changes :

    Military Orders

When I make a MO list – my go-to link team is:

    Military Orders
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]6
ORDER SERGEANT Heavy Rocket Launcher / Assault Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 15)
ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
ORDER SERGEANT Paramedic (MediKit) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 15)
BLACK FRIAR (Albedo, Biometric Visor L1) MULTI Rifle, Nanopulser, Drop Bears / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 28)

    1.5 SWC | 97 Points

This is a pretty cheap ARO platform/order battery. I disagree with the sentiment that MO = HI link team. That method of thinking just pigeon-holes you into the same list every time. I agree with your line of thinking that MO can exist without the dependence on link teams – but due to the nature of the flexibility of their teams the option is always nice. With this Order Sergeant base I can take a solo Santiago or FK and link him in mid-game if need be.

A lot of people complain about the knights CC ability, but outside of the Black Friar, it's probably our best method to deal with enemy mid-field skirmishers.

One of the main reasons to play a sectorial is the ability to run linkteams. If you aren't going to use them, you're probably better off playing Vanilla PanO. There's just no other way to say it.

If you don't want to run a full link of HI Knights, why not mix it up with a link of Order Sergeants with a Father Knight Missile Launcher? I also highly recommend the TO camo Forward Observer Order Sergeants. They are some of the best objective grabbers you could ask for in this game, and if you're not interested in running lots of HI, you'll have the points for one or two.

My issue with this list is you could make it better by running Vanilla.

Swap Konstantinos for a Zulu Cobra, the TO Sniper for a Croc or Hexa, and the Sarge Hacker for a Fusilier and IMO you've got a slightly more effective list, then you can get into things like swapping the Fugazi for a Helot and so on...

Welcome! Of course. And just to be sure, I said PanOceania’s best revivers, very far from being the best in the game. The first thing to note about what makes a unit great is that it’s not only the role we are specifically considering, but also the other roles that a unit can carry out. So part of what makes the Montesa and Hospitaller reviver options so great is that they can carry out a few other roles , and quite well to boot. As far as reviving specifically, the Montesa excels because he can quickly reach fallen allies due to his extreme speed. He also has a solid BS stat for launching those combat stims. The Hospitaller is good at reviving really only because he has +1 WIP over the standard PanO Doctor. However the Sectorial itself favors reviving units because the units are generally extremely armored, increasing the investment gains of reviving, and also have high Phisicality which means Medikits are more effective on them.

Thank you! I like the tweak a lot, looks much more efficient.
That link team does look strong... I will have to try it out.
I see what you’re saying. I settled on Konstantinos due to his being a Specialist and also his anti-Camo ability. Was thinking about swapping for Dart, who also fills a similar role as the other two, but again isn’t a Specialist troop. The Fugazi for a Helot is definitely more effective. The Croc Man for the OS sort of seems apples and oranges to me, one is almost 40 points and the other is half that. The Hexa is definitely closer, I could probably drop a Fugazi or MuleBot to exchange her for the OS if I go Vanilla. The OS is a better Specialist than the Fusilier, even if slightly. But his points do reflect that. Thanks for the input! Gives me a lot to think about.

I agree the TO FO is gold. I will definitely think about mixing up some cheaper fireteams. Thanks for your response!

I think he's insinuating that a list like OP posted can function identically in Vanilla, if not to a greater effect with some alterations.

    Basicly this.

Same way you can (probably?) make a full LI/MI IA list (or camoless TAK). It's possible, the question is why would someone do something like that ? (except for always valid argument of "for lulz")

While I disagree that you need link teams for MO to work – you should atleast leverage the increased AVA or the 0 SWC TOFOOS. MO has pretty decent solo pieces that you can write lists around

While the TOFOOS are great, I don't think you can exactly write a list around them.

Especially now once you have even less orders.

I agree, theyre a great support piece. I was more referring to units like this:

    Military Orders
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]4
JOAN OF ARC Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, EXP CCW. (2 | 53)
    SERAPH HMG, 2 Nanopulsers / EXP CCW. (2 | 79)
[IMG] CRABBOT Flash Pulse / Knife. ()
KNIGHT OF SANTIAGO Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, D-Charges + 1 TinBot A (Deflector L1) / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 38)
    FATHER-KNIGHT Spitfire / Breaker Pistol, DA CCW. (2 | 50)

    6 SWC | 220 Points

    Open in Infinity Army

But to be honest what makes 1/2 of these guys so good is the ability to jump in a link and get those bonuses if they need them but also the ability to exist on their own and be effective
